Steel wire and wire products - General - Part 2: Wire dimensions and tolerances

This European Standard specifies the tolerances on diameter of round wire and, where applicable, on the length of round wire cut to length, for bright steel wire, (i.e. uncoated), metallic coated steel wire and non-metallic coated steel wire.
This European Standard should not be applied where other requirements for dimensions and tolerances are specified in a particular product standard.

Stahldraht und Drahterzeugnisse - Allgemeines - Teil 2: Drahtmaße und Toleranzen

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Grenzabmaße fest für den Durchmesser von rundem Draht und, soweit zutreffend, für die Länge von zu Stäben geschnittenem runden Draht, und zwar für blanken Stahldraht (d. h. ohne Überzug), für Stahldraht mit metallischem Überzug und für Stahldraht mit nichtmetallischem Überzug.
Diese Europäische Norm sollte nicht angewendet werden, wenn in einer be¬sonderen Erzeugnisnorm andere Anforderungen für Maße und Grenz¬abmaße festgelegt sind.

Fils et produits tréfilés en acier - Généralités - Partie 2 : Dimensions et tolérances des fils

Cette Norme européenne spécifie les tolérances de diamètre des fils de section circulaire et, le cas échéant, les tolérances de longueur des fils de section circulaire coupés à longueur pour les fils en acier blanc (c'est-à-dire non revêtus), les fils en acier à revêtement métallique et les fils en acier à revêtement non métallique.
Cette Norme européenne n'est pas applicable lorsqu'une norme de produit spécifique définit d'autres exigences relatives aux dimensions et aux tolérances.
