Identification card systems - Man-machine interface - Part 4: Coding of user requirements for people with special needs

This European Standard defines the data objects to be stored within an integrated circuit(s) card and exchanged in order to enable integrated circuit(s) card accepting terminals to identify specific user interface preferences. The preference information may be used by terminals to configure appropriate methods of communicating with the user during a transaction process.
The European Standard also specifies a mechanism for the retrieval of the user preference information from an integrated circuit(s) card and for the combination of data objects to form particular user profiles, through the assignment of unique tags.
Formats and detailed definitions of single data objects are specified, however, the exact method of storage of data within the integrated circuit(s) card is outside the scope of this European Standard.
This European Standard is applicable to the scenario where the cardholder operates the card accepting equipment (e.g. a cash dispenser, ticket machine, vending machine) and to integrated circuit(s) cards conforming to ISO/IEC 7816-4 and ISO/IEC 7816-6 and personalised to the individual cardholder.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Datenobjekte fest, die auf einer Chipkarte zu speichern und auszutauschen sind, damit in Endgeräten mit Chipkartenzugang (Kartenendgeräten) besondere Präferenzen für die Benutzerschnittstelle gesetzt werden können. Die Informationen zu den Präferenzen können von den Endgeräten für die Konfiguration geeigneter Verfahren der Kommunikation mit dem Benutzer beim Transaktionsprozess verwendet werden.
Diese Europäische Norm legt außerdem einen Mechanismus für die Wiedergewinnung der Informationen über die Benutzerpräferenzen von einer Chipkarte fest sowie einen Mechanismus für die Kombination von Datenobjekten zur Bildung von bestimmten Benutzerprofilen durch Zuweisung von eindeutigen Identifizie¬rungskennzeichen.
Es werden Formate und detaillierte Definitionen einzelner Datenobjekte festgelegt, das genaue Verfahren der Datenspeicherung auf der Chipkarte liegt jedoch nicht im Anwendungsbereich dieser Europäischen Norm.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Abläufe, bei denen der Karteninhaber das Kartenendgerät (z. B. einen Geld-, Fahrkarten- oder Warenautomaten) bedient, sowie für Chipkarten nach ISO/IEC 7816-4 und ISO/IEC 7816-6, die für einen bestimmten Karteninhaber persönlich ausgestellt (d. h. personalisiert) sind.

Ta evropski standard določa podatkovne predmete, ki se shranjujejo znotraj integriranega vezja kartice in izmenjujejo, da lahko kartice z integriranim vezjem sprejemajo terminale za identifikacijo posebnih nastavitev uporabniškega vmesnika. Informacije o nastavitvah lahko terminali uporabljajo za nastavitev ustreznih metod komuniciranja z uporabnikom med postopkom transakcije.
Evropski standard določa tudi mehanizem za priklic informacij o uporabniških nastavitvah iz kartice z integriranim vezjem in za kombiniranje podatkovnih predmetov za oblikovanje posebnih uporabniških profilov prek dodeljevanja edinstvenih oznak.
Oblike in podrobne opredelitve posameznih podatkovnih predmetov so določene, vendar je natančna metoda shranjevanja podatkov znotraj integriranega vezja kartice zunaj področja uporabe tega evropskega standarda.
Ta evropski standard se uporablja za scenarij, v katerem imetnik kartice uporablja opremo, ki sprejema kartice (npr. bankomat, avtomat za prodajo vstopnic, avtomat za kavo), in kartice z integriranim vezjem, ki so v skladu s standardoma ISO/IEC 7816-4:2005 in ISO/IEC 7816-6:2004 ter so prilagojene za posameznega imetnika kartice.
