Thermal insulation products for buildings - Factory made reflective insulation (RI) products - Specification
This document is applicable to factory-made reflective insulation (RI) products intended for use as thermal and acoustic insulation of buildings. The products are manufactured in the form of rolls or boards. They are made from low emissive film(s) and infrared semi-transparent material layer(s) or air cavities.
This document describes the methods and criteria for assessing the performance of factory-made reflective insulation products in relation to essential product characteristics and includes the procedures for assessment and verification of the constancy of performance.
Reflective insulation products require specific setup instruction(s) depending on their level of compressibility.
This document does not specify the required level of a given property to be achieved by a product to demonstrate fitness for purpose in a particular application. The levels required for a given application can be found in regulations or non-conflicting standards.
This document does not cover:
- products intended to be used for the insulation of building equipment and industrial installations;
- products made of mineral wool, polystyrene or polyurethane foams (not inclusive) faced with aluminium or metalized foil on one or both external surfaces (which are already covered by a corresponding harmonized European product standard);
- membranes used as vapour control layer (VCL) or vapour-permeable roof or wall underlay (which are already covered by a specific harmonized European product standard).
Wärmedämmstoffe für Gebäude - Werkmäßig hergestellte reflektierende Wärmedämmstoffe - Spezifikation
Dieses Dokument ist anwendbar für werkmäßig hergestellte reflektierende Dämm (RI, en: reflective insulation) produkte, die für die Verwendung als Wärme und Schalldämmung von Gebäuden vorgesehen sind. Die Produkte werden in Form von Rollen oder Platten hergestellt. Sie bestehen aus (einer) niedrigemittierenden Folie(n) und (einer) für Infrarotstrahlung semitransparenten Werkstoffschicht(en) oder Lufthohlräumen.
Dieses Dokument beschreibt die Verfahren und Kriterien für die Bewertung der Leistungsfähigkeit von werkmäßig hergestellten reflektierenden Dämmprodukten bezüglich der wesentlichen Produkteigenschaften und schließt die Verfahren für die Bewertung und Überprüfung der Leistungsbeständigkeit ein.
Je nach ihrem Grad der Komprimierbarkeit erfordern reflektierende Dämmprodukte (eine) besondere Installationsanweisung(en).
Dieses Dokument legt nicht die erforderliche Leistungsstufe für eine vorgegebene Eigenschaft fest, die ein Produkt erreichen muss, um die Gebrauchstauglichkeit für eine bestimmte Anwendung nachzuweisen. Die für eine bestimmte Anwendung erforderlichen Leistungsstufen können Vorschriften oder nicht entgegenstehenden Normen entnommen werden.
Folgendes wird durch dieses Dokument nicht abgedeckt:
Produkte, die für die Verwendung zur Dämmung von Gebäudeausrüstungen und Industrieanlagen vorgesehen sind;
Produkte, die aus Mineralwolle, Polystyrol oder Polyurethanschaumstoffen (nicht eingeschlossen) bestehen, die an einer oder beiden äußeren Oberflächen mit Aluminium oder metallisierter Folie beschichtet sind (die bereits von einer entsprechenden harmonisierten Europäischen Produktnorm abgedeckt werden);
Abdichtungsbahnen, die als Dampfsperrbahn oder dampfdurchlässige Unterdeck und Unterspannbahnen für Dachdeckungen oder Wände verwendet werden (die bereits von einer entsprechenden harmonisierten Europäischen Produktnorm abgedeckt werden).

Le présent document s’applique aux produits d’isolation réfléchissants (IR) manufacturés destinés à l’isolation thermique et acoustique des bâtiments. Les produits sont fabriqués en forme de rouleaux ou de panneaux. Ils sont constitués d’un ou plusieurs films à faible émissivité et d’une ou plusieurs couches de matériaux semi-transparents aux infrarouges ou de cavités d’air.
Le présent document décrit les méthodes et critères d’évaluation de la performance des produits d’isolation réfléchissants manufacturés par rapport aux caractéristiques principales du produit ; il inclut les procédures d’évaluation et de vérification de la constance des performances.
Les produits d’isolation réfléchissants nécessitent une ou plusieurs instructions d’installation spécifiques selon leur niveau de compressibilité.
Le présent document ne spécifie pas le niveau requis d’une propriété donnée devant être atteint par un produit pour en démontrer l’aptitude à l’emploi dans une application particulière. Les niveaux requis pour une application donnée peuvent être consultés dans les réglementations ou dans des normes non contradictoires.
Le présent document ne couvre pas :
- les produits destinés à l’isolation des équipements de construction et des installations industrielles ;
- les produits composés de laine minérale, de mousses de polystyrène ou de polyuréthane (liste non exhaustive) recouverts d’une feuille d’aluminium ou d’une feuille métallisée sur l’une ou sur les deux faces extérieures (qui sont déjà couverts par une Norme européenne harmonisée spécifique) ;
- les membranes utilisées comme pare-vapeur ou sous-couche de toiture ou de mur, perméable à la vapeur d’eau (qui sont déjà couvertes par une Norme européenne harmonisée spécifique).
Toplotnoizolacijski proizvodi za stavbe - Tovarniško narejeni odsevni izolacijski proizvodi (RI) - Specifikacija
Ta evropski standard določa značilnosti tovarniško narejenih odsevno izolacijskih proizvodov (RI), ki se uporabljajo za toplotno izolacijo stavb, kadar so vgrajeni v gradbene elemente, kot so stene, stropi, tla ali strehe. Poleg tega je predlagano, da se ocenijo akustične značilnosti za nekatere aplikacije, kjer je to ustrezno.
Odsevni izolacijski proizvodi so izdelani iz nizkoemisivnih folij, povezanih z infrardečimi polprosojnimi plastmi materiala ali z zračnimi votlinami, tako imenovanimi distančniki, kot so vata iz sintetičnih ali naravnih vlaken, sintetična pena ali plastika, napolnjena z zračnimi mehurčki.

To lahko nastopi pri samem proizvodu, če vsebuje zračne votline ali material, ki je v celoti ali delno prosojen za infrardeče sevanje, ali pri zračnih režah, ki so namerno ustvarjene med odsevno površino proizvoda in strukturo gradbenega elementa. .
Ta standard opisuje lastnosti proizvodov ter zajema postopke za preskušanje, vrednotenje skladnosti, označevanje in etiketiranje.
Ta standard ne določa zahtevane ravni določene lastnosti, ki jo mora proizvod doseči, da se dokaže njegova primernost namenu za posamezno vrsto uporabe. Zahtevane ravni za posamezno uporabo so določene v uredbah ali standardih, ki niso v nasprotju s tem standardom.
Ta standard ne nadomešča postopkov za določanje lastnosti proizvodov, ki so že zajeti v obstoječih usklajenih specifikacijah.
Ta standard ne zajema toplotnoizolacijskih proizvodov na mestu uporabe ter proizvodov za izolacijo gradbene opreme in industrijskih napeljav.
