Specifications for installations inside buildings conveying water for human consumption - Part 3: Pipe sizing - Simplified method
This European Standard is in conjunction with EN 806-1 and EN 806-2 for drinking water systems within premises.
This European Standard describes a calculation method for the dimensioning of pipes for the type of drinking water standard-installations as defined in 4.2.
It contains no pipe sizing for fire fighting systems.

Diese Europäische Norm gilt in Verbindung mit EN 806-1 und EN 806-2 für Trinkwasser-Installationen innerhalb von Gebäuden und Grundstücken.
Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt ein Berechnungsverfahren für die Bemessung von Rohren für Trinkwasser-Normalinstallationen nach 4.2.
Sie enthält kein Berechnungsverfahren für Brandschutzanlagen.

La présente norme, conjointement aux normes EN 806-1, 806-2, 806-4 et 806-5, s'applique à la conception, l'installation, la modification, la maintenance et le fonctionnement des installations d'alimentation en eau potable dans les bâtiments. Elle ne contient aucune réglementation relative aux systèmes de lutte contre l'incendie (voir EN 806-2, article 16).
