Natural gas vehicles - Requirements for NGV workshops and the management of compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles
This document provides requirements for operation of vehicles that use compressed natural gas (CNG) as a fuel for propulsion, covering various aspects of NGV workshops including activities, risk management, planning, personnel, layout, systems and operations. It provides requirements regarding the management of NGVs including use, parking, fuelling for commissioning, inspection, installation, repair and maintenance, disposal, transportation and documentation.
This document is applicable to the management of CNG vehicles with a fuel system pressure of 20 MPa (200 bar) at 15 °C. This document can also be applied to vehicles with higher fuel system pressures, taking into account additional safety aspects.
This document also applies to servicing, repair and maintenance of NGVs when work is not performed on the gas fuel system.

Dieses Dokument enthält Anforderungen zum Betrieb von Fahrzeugen, die komprimiertes Erdgas (CNG) als Kraftstoff für den Antrieb verwenden und behandelt hierbei verschiedene Aspekte einschließlich Tätigkeiten, Risikomanagement, Planung, Personal, Aufbau, Systeme sowie Betrieb von Werkstätten für Erdgasfahrzeuge. Es enthält Anforderungen an die Handhabung von Erdgasfahrzeugen, einschließlich Gebrauch, Parken, Befüllung für die Inbetriebnahme, Inspektion, Installation, Reparatur und Instandhaltung, Entsorgung, Transport und Dokumentation.
Dieses Dokument gilt für CNG-Fahrzeuge mit einem Druck im Kraftstoffsystem von 20 MPa (200 bar) bei 15 °C. Unter Berücksichtigung zusätzlicher Sicherheitsaspekte kann dieses Dokument auch für Fahrzeuge mit höherem Druck im Kraftstoffsystem herangezogen werden.
Dieses Dokument ist auch für die Instandhaltung, Reparatur und Wartung von erdgasbetriebenen Fahrzeugen anwendbar, wenn keine Arbeiten am Kraftstoffsystem durchgeführt werden.

Le présent document fournit des exigences relatives à l'utilisation des véhicules fonctionnant au gaz naturel comprimé (GNC) en tant que carburant, et couvre différents aspects des ateliers pour véhicules GNV, notamment les activités, le management du risque, la planification, le personnel, la disposition, les systèmes et l'exploitation. Il fournit des exigences concernant la gestion des véhicules GNV, y compris l’utilisation, le stationnement, le ravitaillement, l’inspection, l’installation, la réparation et la maintenance, l’élimination, le transport et la documentation.
Le présent document s’applique à la gestion des véhicules fonctionnant au GNC avec un système de carburant sous pression de 20 MPa (200 bar) à 15 °C. Le présent document peut également s’appliquer aux véhicules dont le système de carburant est soumis à des pressions plus élevées, en tenant compte d'aspects de sécurité supplémentaires.
Ce document s'applique également à l'entretien, la réparation et la maintenance des véhicules GNV lorsque des travaux ne sont pas effectués sur le système de carburant à gaz.
