Small craft - Determination of maximum propulsion power rating using manoeuvring speed - Part 1: Craft with a length of hull less than 8 m (ISO 11592-1:2016)

ISO 11592-1:2016 specifies the requirements for determination of the maximum propulsion power rating and manoeuvring speed for engine-driven small craft with a length of hull (LH) of less than 8 m (Lh according to ISO 8666).
It is not applicable to the following:
       personal water craft as defined by ISO 13590;[6]
       canoes and kayaks;
       inflatable boats, as defined by ISO 6185-1, ISO 6185-2, ISO 6185-3, and ISO 6185-4, except that ISO 6185‑3 requires rigid inflatable boats (RIBS) capable of a maximum speed of 30 kn or more to be tested in accordance to this part of ISO 11592;
       racing boats: craft designed and constructed solely for competitive racing.
ISO 11592-1:2016 does not specify craft constructional strength requirements related to maximum rated power and does not guarantee security from instability under all conditions of seaway, wind, wakes and waves.

L'ISO 11592-1:2016 spécifie les exigences relatives à la détermination de la puissance maximale de propulsion et à la vitesse de man?uvre pour les bateaux à moteur d'une longueur de coque (LH) de moins de 8 m (LH déterminée conformément à l'ISO 8666).
Elle n'est pas applicable aux:
       véhicules nautiques à moteur définis par l'ISO 13590;[6]
       canoës et kayaks;
       bateaux pneumatiques, tels que définis par tel que défini par les normes  l'ISO 6185‑1, ISO 6185‑2, ISO 6185‑3 et ISO 6185‑4, excepté que l'ISO 6185‑3 exige que les bateaux semi-rigides (RIBS) capables d'une vitesse maximale supérieure ou égale à 30 n?uds soient soumis à essai conformément à la présente partie de l'ISO 11592;
       les bateaux de course: conçus et construits exclusivement pour la compétition.
L'ISO 11592-1:2016 ne spécifie pas les exigences de résistance de la construction liées à la puissance nominale maximale de propulsion et ne garantit pas contre les risques d'instabilité dans toutes les conditions de mer, de vent, de sillage et de vagues.

Ta del standarda ISO 11592 določa zahteve za določitev največje moči pogona in hitrosti manevriranja za majhna plovila z motorjem in dolžino trupa (LH), krajšo od 8 m (dolžina trupa v skladu s standardom ISO 8666).
Ta del standarda ISO 11592 se ne uporablja za:
– osebna vodna plovila, opredeljena v standardu ISO 13590;[6]
– kanuje in kajake;
– napihljive čolne, opredeljene v delih standardov ISO 6185-1, ISO 6185-2, ISO 6185-3 in ISO 6185-4, medtem ko del standarda ISO 6185-3 zahteva, da so v skladu s tem delom standarda ISO 11592 preizkušeni napihljivi čolni, ki imajo v spodnjem delu trupa togo enoto (RIBS) in lahko plujejo z največjo hitrostjo 30 vozlov ali več;
– dirkalne čolne: plovila, zasnovana in izdelana izključno za dirkanje.
Ta del standarda ISO 11592 ne določa zahtev za konstrukcijsko trdnost plovil, povezano z največjo nazivno močjo, in ne zagotavlja zaščite pred nestabilnostjo v vseh razmerah potovanja po morju, vetra, vrtincev in valov.

This document (EN ISO 11592-1:2016) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 188 "Small
craft".
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2016, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by September 2016.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
