Glass in building - Basic soda lime silicate glass products - Part 5: Patterned glass

This European Standard specifies dimensional and minimum quality requirements (in respect of visual and pattern faults) for patterned glass as defined in EN 572-1:2012, for use in building.
This European Standard applies only to patterned glass supplied in rectangular panes and in stock sizes.
EN 572-8 gives information on patterned glass in sizes other than those covered by this European Standard.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Maße und Mindestqualität (in Bezug auf sichtbare Fehler und Fehler im Dessin) für Ornamentglas für das Bauwesen, wie es in EN 572 1:2012 definiert ist, fest.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nur für Ornamentglas, das in rechtwinkligen Scheiben und Standardab-messungen geliefert wird.
EN 572 8 informiert über Ornamentglas in anderen als in dieser Europäischen Norm aufgeführten Abmessungen.

La présente Norme européenne détermine les spécifications dimensionnelles et les spécifications qualitatives minimales (concernant les défauts d'aspect et de dessin) du verre imprimé, tel que défini dans le EN 572-1:2012, pour l'utilisation dans la construction.
La présente Norme européenne ne s'applique qu'au verre imprimé fourni en feuilles rectangulaires et en dimensions standard.
L’EN 572-8 fournit des informations sur le verre imprimé dans des dimensions autres que celles couvertes par la présente Norme européenne.

Ta evropski standard se nanaša le na vzorčasto steklo, dobavljeno kot pravokotno steklo in v velikostih na zalogi. This document (EN 572-5:2012) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 129 “Glass in building”,
the secretariat of which is held by NBN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by January 2013, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by January 2013.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 572-5:2004.
This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the
European Free Trade Association.
This edition is a revision of EN 572-5:2004. The main change in this edition is a new method of determination
of squareness.
This European Standard “Glass in building — Basic soda lime silicate glass products” consists of the following
