Animal feeding stuffs - Determination of lysine, methionine and threonine in commercial amino acid products and premixtures (ISO 17180:2013)

ISO 17180:2013 specifies a method for the quantitative determination of free (non-protein-bound) lysine, methionine, and threonine in commercial products and premixtures containing more than about 10 % mass fraction of the respective amino acid. It does not distinguish between d- and l-forms.

Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Verfahren zur quantitativen Bestimmung von freiem (nicht proteingebundenen) Lysin, Methionin und Threonin in handelsüblichen Produkten und Vormischungen fest, die mindestens 10 % Massenanteil der entsprechenden Aminosäure enthalten. Es unterscheidet nicht zwischen D  und L Formen.
ANMERKUNG   Für die Anwendung dieser Internationalen Norm gilt, dass der Begriff "Aminosäuren", der im Abschnitt 2 und folgend verwendet wird, sich auf Lysin, Methionin und Threonin bezieht.

L'ISO 17180:2013 spécifie une méthode de détermination quantitative de la lysine, la méthionine et la thréonine libres (non liées aux protéines) dans les produits industriels et les pré-mélanges contenant plus de 10 % (fraction massique) environ de l'acide aminé considéré. Elle ne fait pas de distinction entre les formes D et L.

Ta mednarodni standard določa metodo za kvantitativno določevanje prostega (nevezanega na beljakovine) lizina, metionina in treonina v komercialnih izdelkih in premiksih, ki vsebujejo več kot približno 10 % masnega deleža zadevne aminokisline. Standard ne razlikuje med oblikama d in l.

This document (EN ISO 17180:2013) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 34 "Food products"
in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 327 “Animal feeding stuffs - Methods of sampling and
analysis” the secretariat of which is held by NEN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2013, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by October 2013.
