This document specifies the required characteristics for heat-shrinkable limited fire hazard identification sleeves for use in aircraft electrical systems at operating temperatures between −40 °C and 105 °C.
This document is only applicable for the characterization of identification sleeves. This sleeving is flexible, flame retarded and emits minimum smoke, gases and corrosive by-products when exposed to fire. This sleeving is only applicable for use in areas where smoke, gases or corrosive by-products would constitute a particular hazard.
It is available with a shrink ratio of 2 : 1.
The product is normally supplied with internal diameters up to 51 mm.
The standard colours are white or yellow.
Sizes or colours other than those specifically listed in this document can be available. These items are considered to comply with this document if they comply with the property requirements listed in Table 2 and Table 3, except for dimensions and mass.
As the sleeving to be tested is a printed article, the complete system is to be recorded as part of the evaluation. The sleeve will only be considered as meeting the requirements of this document if printed with the printer, ribbon, inks and settings referenced within the test report.
Mark adherence and print permanence are determined in this specification using method EN 6059-407.

Dieses Dokument legt die Anforderungen an wärmeschrumpfende Kennzeichnungsschläuche mit reduziertem Brandverhalten zur Verwendung in elektrischen Bordnetzen von Luftfahrzeugen bei Betriebstemperaturen zwischen −40 °C und 105 °C fest.
Dieses Dokument ist nur anwendbar für die Charakterisierung von Kennzeichnungsschläuchen. Dieser Schlauch ist flexibel, flammgehemmt und emittiert nur geringe Mengen an Rauch, Gasen und korrodierenden Nebenprodukten, wenn er Feuer ausgesetzt ist. Dieser Schlauch ist nur für die Anwendung in Bereichen geeignet, in denen Rauch, Gase oder korrodierende Nebenprodukte eine besondere Gefährdung darstellen würden.
Er ist mit einem Schrumpfverhältnis von 2 : 1 erhältlich.
Das Produkt wird üblicherweise mit Innendurchmessern bis zu 51 mm geliefert.
Die Standardfarben sind weiß oder gelb.
Es können andere Größen oder Farben als die speziell in diesem Dokument angegebenen angeboten werden. Diese Bauteile werden dahingehend angesehen, dass sie dieses Dokument erfüllen, wenn sie mit Ausnahme der Maße und Masse die in Tabelle 2 und Tabelle 3 angegebenen Anforderungen an die Merkmale erfüllen.
Da der zu prüfende Schlauch ein bedruckter Artikel ist, muss das gesamte System als Teil der Bewertung aufgezeichnet werden. Dieser Schlauch wird dahingehend angesehen, dass er die Anforderungen dieses Dokuments nur erfüllt, wenn er mithilfe von Drucker, Farbband, Tinten und den Einstellungen bedruckt wurde, auf die im Prüfbericht verwiesen wird.
In dieser Spezifikation werden die Haftfestigkeit und Haltbarkeit der Kennzeichnung mithilfe des Prüfverfahrens nach EN 6059 407 bestimmt.

Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques requises pour les manchons d’identification à risque
d'incendie limité destinés à une utilisation dans les systèmes électriques des aéronefs à des
températures de fonctionnement comprises entre −40 °C et 105 °C.
Ce document est uniquement applicable à la caractérisation des manchons d’identification. Ce type de
manchon est flexible, ignifugé et émet des fumées, des gaz et des sous-produits corrosifs minimaux
quand il est exposé au feu. Il est uniquement applicable à une utilisation dans les zones où des fumées,
des gaz ou des sous-produits corrosifs sont susceptibles de représenter un risque spécifique.
Il est proposé avec un coefficient de rétreint de 2:1.
Le produit est normalement fourni avec des diamètres intérieurs allant jusqu’à 51 mm.
Les couleurs usuelles sont le blanc ou le jaune.
D’autres tailles ou d’autres couleurs que celles mentionnées spécifiquement dans le présent document
peuvent être disponibles. Ces articles sont considérés comme conformes au présent document s’ils
répondent aux exigences de propriétés présentées dans le Tableau 2 et le Tableau 3, exception faite des
dimensions et masses.
Étant donné que le manchon à soumettre à essai est un article imprimé, il est nécessaire d’enregistrer le
système complet en tant que partie intégrante de l’évaluation. Le manchon ne sera considéré comme
respectant les exigences du présent document que s’il est marqué à l’aide de l’imprimante, du ruban,
des encres et des paramètres référencés dans le rapport d’essai.
L’adhérence du marquage et la permanence de l'impression sont déterminées dans cette spécification à
l’aide de la méthode EN 6059-407.
