Conveyor belts - Specification for rubber- or plastics-covered conveyor belts of textile construction for underground mining (ISO 22721:2023)

This document specifies requirements for rubber- or plastics-covered conveyor belting of textile construction for use in underground mines and disposed on flat or troughed idlers. It is not applicable to light conveyor belts as described in ISO 21183-1.
This document does not include requirements for plastics covers. These are agreed upon by the manufacturer and purchaser, taking into account the type of plastics to be used.
Related items that are not requirements of this document, but which it is recommended be agreed upon by the manufacturer and purchaser, are included in Annex A.
Details recommended to be supplied by the purchaser of belting with an enquiry are given in Annex B.
The ability of a belt to run straight cannot be assessed until the belt is installed. Requirements for this are, therefore, outside the scope of this document; nevertheless, recommendations for lateral drift are given in Annex C.
Attention is drawn to local regulations for safety which might be in place where the belts are to be used.

Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen an Textilfördergurte mit Gummi- oder Kunststoff-Deckplatten für Anwendungen unter Tage auf geraden oder gemuldeten Rollen fest. Es ist nicht anwendbar für leichte Fördergurte nach ISO 21183 1.
Dieses Dokument enthält keine Anforderungen an Kunststoffabdeckungen. Diese werden zwischen dem Hersteller und dem Käufer unter Berücksichtigung der Art des zu verwendenden Kunststoffs vereinbart.
Verwandte Punkte, die keine Anforderungen dieses Dokuments darstellen, die aber zwischen Hersteller und Käufer vereinbart werden sollten, sind in Anhang A enthalten.
In Anhang B sind Einzelheiten enthalten, die der Käufer der Gurte zusammen mit einer Anfrage angeben sollte.
Die Fähigkeit eines Gurtes richtungsstabil zu laufen, kann nicht beurteilt werden, solange der Gurt nicht eingebaut ist. Diesbezügliche Anforderungen sind deshalb nicht Teil des Anwendungsbereiches dieses Dokuments, sind jedoch in Anhang C als Empfehlungen für die seitliche Drift aufgeführt.
Es wird auf lokale Sicherheitsvorschriften hingewiesen, die dort vorhanden sind, wo die Gurte verwendet werden.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences relatives aux courroies transporteuses à structure textile recouvertes de caoutchouc ou de plastique pour utilisation dans les mines souterraines et disposées sur rouleaux plats ou en auge. Il ne s'applique pas aux courroies transporteuses légères décrites dans l'ISO 21183-1.
Le présent document n'inclut pas les exigences relatives aux revêtements plastiques. Ceux-ci font l'objet d'un accord entre le fabricant et l'acheteur, en tenant compte du type de plastique à utiliser.
Les points associés qui ne sont pas des exigences du présent document, mais dont il est recommandé qu'ils soient convenus par le fabricant et l'acheteur, sont inclus dans l'Annexe A.
Les renseignements qu'il est recommandé à l'acheteur d'une courroie de fournir avec une commande sont donnés à l'Annexe B.
La capacité d'une courroie à avoir une course rectiligne ne peut être évaluée qu'une fois la courroie installée. Les exigences en la matière sont, par conséquent, hors du domaine d'application du présent document; néanmoins, des recommandations concernant la dérive latérale sont donnés à l'Annexe C.
L'attention est attirée sur les réglementations locales en matière de sécurité qui peuvent exister là où les courroies doivent être utilisées.

Ta dokument določa zahteve za tračne transportne trakove z gumeno ali plastično oblogo ter tekstilnim vložkom za uporabo v podzemnem rudarstvu na ravnih ali koritastih tleh. Ne uporablja se za lahke trakove tračnih transporterjev iz standarda ISO 21183-1. Dokument ne vključuje zahtev za plastične obloge. O tem se dogovorita proizvajalec in kupec ob upoštevanju vrste plastike, ki bo uporabljena. Povezani elementi, ki niso zajeti v zahtevah tega dokumenta, vendar je priporočljivo, da se o njih dogovorita proizvajalec in kupec, so zajeti v dodatku A. This document (EN ISO 22721:2023) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 41 "Pulleys
and belts (including veebelts)" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 188 “Conveyor belts”
the secretariat of which is held by SNV.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2024, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by February 2024.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 22721:2007.
