LPG equipment and accessories - Cylinder and drum marking
This document specifies stamp marking requirements for transportable refillable LPG cylinders and metallic drums including:
- Steel LPG cylinders designed and manufactured in accordance with EN 1442, EN 14140, EN 12807 or an equivalent standard or technical code recognized by the Competent Authority.
- LPG metallic drums designed and manufactured in accordance with EN 14893 or an equivalent standard or technical code recognized by the Competent Authority.
- Welded aluminium LPG cylinders designed and manufactured in accordance with EN 13110 or an equivalent standard or technical code recognized by the Competent Authority.
- LPG composite cylinders designed and manufactured in accordance with EN 14427 or an equivalent standard or technical code recognized by the Competent Authority.
NOTE 1 All these types of receptacles are referred to throughout this document as “cylinders”.
This document does not specify any requirements for product, hazard or safety-phrase labelling of packaging which can be required to meet ADR or other legislative requirements.
NOTE 2 The marking of cylinders is regulated by RID/ADR which take precedence over any clause in this document. The European Directive on Transportable Pressure Equipment 2010/35/EU [8] includes additional marking requirements (π-marking). For countries that are not members of the European Union, the π marking is replaced by their relevant conformity mark.
Flüssiggas-Geräte und Ausrüstungsteile - Kennzeichnung von Flaschen und Fässern
Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen an die Stempelung von ortsbeweglichen wiederbefüllbaren Flaschen und metallischen Fässern für Flüssiggas (LPG, en: Liquefied Petroleum Gas) fest, einschließlich:
- LPG Flaschen aus Stahl, ausgelegt und hergestellt nach EN 1442, EN 14140, EN 12807 oder einer gleichwertigen Norm oder einem von der zuständigen Behörde anerkannten technischen Regelwerk;
- metallischer LPG Fässer, ausgelegt und hergestellt nach EN 14893 oder einer gleichwertigen Norm oder einem von der zuständigen Behörde anerkannten technischen Regelwerk;
- geschweißter LPG Flaschen aus Aluminium, ausgelegt und hergestellt nach EN 13110 oder einer gleichwertigen Norm oder einem von der zuständigen Behörde anerkannten technischen Regelwerk;
- LPG Flaschen aus Verbundwerkstoffen, ausgelegt und hergestellt nach EN 14427 oder einer gleichwertigen Norm oder einem von der zuständigen Behörde anerkannten technischen Regelwerk.
ANMERKUNG 1 All diese Gefäßarten werden im gesamten vorliegenden Dokument als „Flaschen“ bezeichnet.
Dieses Dokument legt keinerlei Anforderungen an die Produkt , Gefährdungs oder sicherheitsrelevante Verpackungskennzeichnung fest, die zur Erfüllung der ADR oder sonstiger gesetzlicher Anforderungen erforderlich sein können.
ANMERKUNG 2 Die Kennzeichnung von Flaschen ist in RID/ADR geregelt, welche Vorrang vor jeglichen Abschnitten in diesem Dokument haben. Die Europäische Richtlinie über ortsbewegliche Druckgeräte 2010/35/EU [8] enthält zusätzliche Anforderungen an die Kennzeichnung (π Kennzeichnung). Für Länder, die nicht Mitglied der Europäischen Union sind, wird die π Kennzeichnung durch das entsprechende Konformitätszeichen ersetzt.

Le présent document définit les exigences de marquage s'appliquant aux bouteilles transportables rechargeables et aux fûts à pression métalliques de GPL, y compris :
- les bouteilles de GPL en acier conçues et fabriquées conformément à l'EN 1442, l'EN 14140, l'EN 12807, ou à une norme ou un code technique équivalents reconnus par l'autorité compétente ;
- les fûts à pression métalliques de GPL conçus et fabriqués conformément à l'EN 14893, ou à une norme ou un code technique équivalents reconnus par l'autorité compétente ;
- les bouteilles de GPL en aluminium soudées conçues et fabriquées conformément à l'EN 13110, ou à une norme ou un code technique équivalents reconnus par l'autorité compétente ;
- les bouteilles de GPL en matériaux composites conçues et fabriquées conformément à l'EN 14427, ou à une norme ou un code technique équivalents reconnus par l'autorité compétente.
NOTE 1 Dans le présent document, tous ces types de récipients sont désignés par « bouteilles ».
Le présent document ne prescrit pas d'exigences relatives au produit, aux phénomènes dangereux ou à l'étiquetage de sécurité de l'emballage, pouvant être requises pour satisfaire aux exigences de l'ADR ou à toute autre exigence législative.
NOTE 2 Le marquage des bouteilles est réglementé par le RID/ADR, qui prévaut sur tout article ou paragraphe du présent document. La Directive européenne relative aux équipements sous pression transportables 2010/35/UE [8] comprend des exigences de marquage supplémentaires (marquage « π »). Pour les pays qui ne sont pas membres de l'Union européenne, le marquage « π » est remplacé par la marque de conformité appropriée.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za žigosanje prenosnih ponovno polnljivih jeklenk za utekočinjeni naftni plin (UNP) in kovinskih sodov, vključno s/z:
– jeklenimi jeklenkami za utekočinjeni naftni plin, ki so zasnovane in proizvedene v skladu s standardi EN 1442, EN 14140, EN 12807 ali enakovrednim standardom ali tehničnim kodeksom, ki ga priznava pristojni organ;
– kovinskimi sodi za utekočinjeni naftni plin, ki so zasnovani in proizvedeni v skladu s standardom EN 14893 ali enakovrednim standardom ali tehničnim kodeksom, ki ga priznava pristojni organ;
– varjenimi aluminijastimi jeklenkami za utekočinjeni naftni plin, ki so zasnovane in proizvedene v skladu s standardom EN 13110 ali enakovrednim standardom ali tehničnim kodeksom, ki ga priznava pristojni organ;
– kompozitnimi jeklenkami za utekočinjeni naftni plin, ki so zasnovane in proizvedene v skladu s standardom EN 14427 ali enakovrednim standardom ali tehničnim kodeksom, ki ga priznava pristojni organ.
OPOMBA 1: Vse te vrste vsebnikov se v tem standardu imenujejo »jeklenke«.
Ta evropski standard ne določa zahtev za označevanje izdelkov, nevarnosti ali obvestilnih stavkov na embalaži, ki so lahko potrebne za izpolnjevanje zahtev ADR ali drugih zakonodajnih zahtev.
OPOMBA 2: Označevanje jeklenk ureja dogovor RID/ADR, ki ima prednost pred katero koli točko tega evropskega standarda. Evropska direktiva o premični tlačni opremi 2010/35/EU [9] vključuje dodatne zahteve za označevanje.
