Swap bodies and commercial vehicles - Tarpaulins - Part 2: Minimum requirements for curtainsiders
This European Standard specifies minimum requirements for the strength and attachment of tarpaulins used on swap bodies for combined transport and may be used for other applications, e.g. commercial vehicles.
NOTE 1 Tarpaulins of commercial vehicles which shall be operated in combined transport (i.e. rolling motorway) may adhere to this European Standard.
NOTE 2 Curtainsider tarpaulins which fulfil the requirements of this European Standard are not suitable for securing cargo. This European Standard does not contain any requirements in this respect. Requirements for securing of cargo are given in EN 12640 and prEN 12642 option XL.
Wechselbehälter und Nutzfahrzeuge - Planen - Teil 2: Mindestanforderungen an Schiebeplanen
Diese Norm legt Mindestanforderungen an die Festigkeit und Befestigung von Schiebeplanen an
Wechselbehältern für den kombinierten Güterverkehr fest und kann auch für andere Anwendungen, z.B. für
Nutzfahrzeuge, verwendet werden.
ANMERKUNG 1 Schiebeplanen an Nutzfahrzeugen welche in kombinierten Güterverkehr (z. B. auf der Rollenden
Landstraße) eingesetzt werden, können von diesem Standard werden.
ANMERKUNG 2 Schiebeplanen, welche die Anforderungen dieser Norm erfüllen, sind nicht geeignet für
Ladungssicherung. Diese Norm enthält keine diesbezüglichen Anforderungen. Anforderungen für die Ladungssicherung
werden in EN 12640 und prEN 12642 Option XL gegeben.

La présente norme spécifie les exigences minimales de résistance et de fixation des bâches de rideaux coulissants pour caisses mobiles et véhicules routiers destinés au transport de marchandises.
NOTE Les bâches de rideaux coulissants qui satisfont aux exigences de la présente norme ne sont pas adaptées à l'arrimage du chargement. La présente norme ne contient aucune exigence relative à ce sujet. Il convient, dans ce cas, de se reporter à l'EN 283.
