This European Standard defines the size 2 plug used in the family of rectangular electrical connectors for rack to panel, with interchangeable inserts. The receptacle corresponding to this plug is defined in EN 3682 004.

Diese Europäische Norm legt den freien Steckverbinder der Größe 2 fest, der in der Familie der elektrischen Rechtecksteckverbinder für Gestell-Einschubsteckverbinder mit auswechselbaren Isolierkörpern verwendet wird. Der diesem freien Steckverbinder entsprechende feste Steckverbinder wird in EN 3682-004 beschrieben.
