Earth-moving machinery - Wheeled or high-speed rubber-tracked machines - Performance requirements and test procedures for brake systems (ISO 3450:2011)

ISO 3450:2011 specifies minimum performance requirements and test procedures for the service, secondary and parking brake systems of wheeled and high-speed rubber-tracked earth-moving machines, for the uniform assessment of those brake systems.
It is applicable to the following earth-moving machinery, operating on work sites or in mining, or travelling on public roads: self-propelled, rubber-tyred earth-moving machines, as defined in ISO 6165; self-propelled rollers and landfill compactors, as defined in ISO 6165 and ISO 8811; self-propelled scrapers, as defined in ISO 7133; remote-control machines, as defined in ISO 6165, wheeled or rubber-tracked; derivative earth-moving machines with rubber tyres; earth-moving machines with rubber tracks and a maximum machine speed greater than or equal to 20 km/h.
It is not applicable to pedestrian-controlled earth-moving machinery (see ISO 17063) or crawler earth-moving machines with steel or rubber tracks that travel at less than 20 km/h (see ISO 10265). While purpose-built underground mining machines are not within the scope of ISO 3450:2011, its provisions can generally be applied to those machines with some braking performance modifications and additions, given in an annex.

Erdbaumaschinen - Maschinen auf Rädern oder schnelllaufende gummigleiskettenbereifte Maschinen - Anforderungen und Prüfungen für Bremssysteme (ISO 3450:2011)

Diese Internationale Norm legt Mindestanforderungen und Prüfbedingungen für eine einheitliche Beurteilung von Betriebs-, Hilfs- und Feststellbremsanlagen von Maschinen auf Rädern und Maschinen auf schnelllaufenden Gummigleisketten fest.
Sie gilt für die folgenden Erdbaumaschinen, die auf Baustellen, im Gewinnungsbau und im öffentlichen Verkehrsraum eingesetzt werden:
- selbstfahrende, gummiradbereifte Erdbaumaschinen, wie in ISO 6165 definiert;
- selbstfahrende Walzen und Müllverdichter, wie in ISO 6165 und ISO 8811 definiert;
- selbstfahrende Schürfkübelfahrzeuge, wie in ISO 7133 definiert;
- ferngesteuerte Maschinen auf Rädern oder auf Gleisketten aus Gummi, wie in ISO 6165 definiert;
- von Erdbaumaschinen abgeleitete Geräte auf Gummirädern;
- Erdbaumaschinen auf Gleisketten aus Gummi und einer Höchstgeschwindigkeit ≥ 20 km/h.
Sie gilt nicht für mitgängergeführte Erdbaumaschinen (siehe ISO 17063) oder Gleiskettenerdbaumaschinen auf Stahl-, oder Gummiketten, die weniger als 20 km/h fahren (siehe ISO 10265). Während Maschinen, die explizit für den untertägigen Einsatz im Bergbau konzipiert wurden, nicht in den Anwendungsbereich dieser Internationalen Norm fallen, können deren Bestimmungen generell auf diese Maschinen mit wenigen Modifikationen und Ergänzungen angewendet werden (siehe Anhang A).
ANMERKUNG Zum Zeitpunkt der Veröffentlichung ist keine Internationale Norm für Bremsanforderungen von Maschinen, die explizit für den untertägigen Einsatz im Bergbau konzipiert wurden, erarbeitet worden.

Engins de terrassement - Engins sur pneumatiques ou sur chenilles caoutchouc à grande vitesse - Exigences de performance et modes opératoires d'essai des systèmes de freinage (ISO 3450:2011)

L'ISO 3450:2011 spécifie les performances minimales et les critères d'essai des dispositifs de freinage de façon à permettre une évaluation uniforme des dispositifs de freinage de service, de secours et de stationnement des engins sur pneumatiques ou des engins sur chenilles caoutchouc à grande vitesse.
Elle s'applique aux engins de terrassement qui travaillent sur chantier, dans des applications minières ou se déplacent sur la voie publique suivants: engins de terrassement automoteurs sur pneumatiques tels que définis dans l'ISO 6165, engins de compactage automoteurs et aux engins de compactage de remblais et de déchets tels que définis dans l'ISO 6165 et dans l'ISO 8811, décapeuses automotrices telles que définies dans l'ISO 7133, machines commandées à distance, sur pneumatiques ou sur chenilles en caoutchouc, engins de terrassement dérivés sur pneumatiques, engins de terrassement sur chenilles en caoutchouc dont la vitesse maximale est supérieure ou égale à 20 km/h.
L'ISO 3450:2011 ne s'applique pas aux engins de terrassement à conducteur accompagnant (voir l'ISO 17063) ou aux engins à chenilles en acier ou en caoutchouc se déplaçant à moins de 20 km/h (voir l'ISO 10265). Bien que les engins conçus pour l'exploitation minière souterraine ne font pas l'objet de l'ISO 3450:2011, ses dispositions peuvent généralement s'appliquer à ces engins, avec quelques modifications ou ajouts sur les performances de freinage, donnés dans une annexe.

Ta mednarodni standard določa minimalne zahteve za zmogljivost in preskusne postopke za delovne, sekundarne in parkirne zavorne sisteme strojev za zemeljska dela s kolesi in gumijastimi gosenicami za velike hitrosti za enotno ocenjevanje teh zavornih sistemov. Velja za naslednje stroje za zemeljska dela, ki obratujejo na deloviščih ali v rudnikih ali pa vozijo po javnih cestah: - samognane stroje za zemeljska dela z gumijastimi kolesi, kot so opredeljeni v ISO 6165; - samognane valjarje in stroje za komprimiranje odlagališč, kot so opredeljeni v ISO 6165 in ISO 8811; - samognane strgalne naprave, kot so opredeljene v ISO 7133; - stroje na daljinsko upravljanje, kot so opredeljeni v ISO 6165, s kolesi ali gumijastimi gosenicami; - izvedene stroje za zemeljska dela z gumijastimi kolesi; - stroje za zemeljska dela z gumijastimi gosenicami in maksimalno hitrostjo ≥20 km/h. Ne velja za mehanizacijo za zemeljska dela, ki jo upravlja pešec (glej ISO 17063), ali gosenične stroje za zemeljska dela z jeklenimi ali gumijastimi gosenicami, ki vozijo s hitrostjo <20 km/h (glej ISO 10265). Čeprav namensko zgrajeni podzemni rudniški stroji niso v obsegu uporabe tega mednarodnega standarda, njegove določbe lahko v splošnem veljajo za te stroje z nekaj modifikacijami in dodatki zavornih zmogljivosti (glej dodatek A).

This document (EN ISO 3450:2011) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 127 "Earth-moving
machinery" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 151 “Construction equipment and building
material machines - Safety” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2012, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the
latest by May 2012.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.

Requirements of EU Directive 2006/42/EC
This European Standard has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission
and the European Free Trade Association to provide one means of conforming to Essential Requirements of
the New Approach Directive 2006/42/EC on machinery.

Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union under that Directive and has been
implemented as a national standard in at least one Member State, compliance with the normative clauses of
this standard confers, within the limits of the scope of this standard, a presumption of conformity with the
relevant Essential Requirements of that Directive and associated EFTA regulations.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies
(ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO
