Machines and plants for the manufacture, treatment and processing of flat glass - Safety requirements - Part 5: Machines and installations for stacking and de-stacking

This European Standard applies for machines and installations for stacking and de-stacking that are specifically de-signed for building-up or taking down upright stacks of flat glass sheet by sheet including unloading and loading of single sheets of flat glass from or onto machines or transport devices (conveyors).
NOTE   For sketches with examples of typical constructions, see Annex A (informative), Figures A.1 to A.9.
1.2   This European Standard deals with the significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to machines and installations for stacking and de-stacking flat glass when they are used as intended and under the conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer (see Clause 4). Those hazards which are dealt with in the ad-hoc standard EN 619 for conveyors are excepted. This European Standard specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce risks arising from the significant hazards during commissioning, operation and maintenance.
1.3   This European Standard is not applicable to the significant hazards of conveyors and other machines for the manufacture, treatment and processing of flat glass, e.g. tilting tables, equipment for storage of flat glass, such as stillages. If there are specific hazards which arise by the co-operation of this machinery and equipment with machines and installations for stacking and de-stacking, appropriate measures are specified.
1.4   This European Standard is not applicable to building up or taking down stacks by means of cranes that are temporarily equipped via hook with load-lifting attachments with suction cups to lift flat glass.
1.5   When compiling this European Standard, it was assumed that lifting movements are only used as part of full automatic machines and that the related hazards are not significant.

1.1 La présente Norme européenne s’applique aux machines et installations à empiler et dépiler qui sont
spécifiquement conçues pour constituer ou défaire des piles de verre plat, plaque par plaque, notamment pour
décharger et charger les plaques de verre plat depuis ou sur des machines ou dispositifs de transport (convoyeurs).
NOTE Pour des schémas présentant des exemples de constructions types, voir Annexe A (informative), Figures A.1 à A.9.
1.2 !La présente Norme européenne traite des phénomènes dangereux, situations et événements dangereux
significatifs spécifiques et aux installations à empiler et dépiler le verre plat, lorsqu'elles sont utilisées normalement
et dans les conditions de mauvais usage raisonnablement prévisibles par le fabricant (voir Article 4)."
Les phénomènes dangereux traités dans la norme spécifique EN 619 pour les convoyeurs ne sont pas pris
en compte. !La présente Norme européenne spécifie les mesures techniques appropriées pour éliminer ou réduire
les risques engendrés par les phénomènes dangereux significatifs lors des opérations de mise en service,
de fonctionnement et de maintenance."
1.3 La présente Norme européenne ne s’applique pas aux phénomènes dangereux significatifs des convoyeurs
et autres machines destinées à la production, au façonnage et à la transformation du verre plat, telles que les tables
basculantes, l’équipement de stockage du verre plat (par exemple, pupitres). S’il existe des phénomènes dangereux
spécifiques générés par le fonctionnement mutuel de ce type de machine et d’équipement avec les machines et
installations destinées à l’empilage et au dépilage, des mesures appropriées sont alors spécifiées.
1.4 La présente Norme européenne ne s’applique pas à la constitution ou au démontage des piles à l’aide d’engins
de levage temporairement équipés, via un crochet, de dispositifs de levage à ventouses, pour soulever le verre plat.

Ta evropski standard velja za stroje in naprave za zlaganje in razlaganje, ki so posebej načrtovani za dodajanje in odstranjevanje kupov ravnega stekla po ploščah, vključno z natovarjanjem in raztovarjanjem posameznih plošč ravnega stekla iz in na stroje ali transportne naprave (transporterje). OPOMBA: Za skice s primeri značilnih konstrukcij glej Dodatek A (informativni), slike od A.1 do A.9. Ta evropski standard obravnava velike nevarnosti, nevarne situacije in primere, ki se tičejo strojev in naprav za zlaganje in razlaganje ravnega stekla, kadar se uporabljajo v skladu z namembnostjo in pod pogoji napačne uporabe, kot jih je upravičeno predvidel proizvajalec (glej Klavzulo 4). Te nevarnosti, ki jih obravnava temu namenjen standard EN 619 za transporterji, so pričakovane. Pri pripravi tega evropskega standarda se je predvidevalo, da so premiki pri dvigovanju uporabljeni zgolj kot del popolnoma avtomatiziranih strojev in da z njimi povezane nevarnosti niso velike. 1.6. Ta evropski standard ne velja za stroje in naprave za zlaganje in razlaganje, ki so bili izdelani pred datumom, ko je CEN objavil ta evropski standard. 1.7. Hrup ne predstavlja velike nevarnosti za ta tip strojev. A-utežna stopnja emisije zvoka na delovnih postajah ne presega 70 dB(A).
