Multi-firing sauna stoves fired by natural wood logs - Requirements and test methods

This European Standard covers multi-firing sauna stoves in which the heating stones are separated from and indirectly heated by the fire and the flue gases and which may be re-fuelled with several fuel loads.
This European Standard specifies requirements relating to the design, manufacture, construction, safety and performance (efficiency and emission) of multi-firing sauna stoves fired by wood logs and provides instructions for them. Furthermore, it also gives provisions for evaluation of conformity (i.e. initial type testing (ITT) and factory production control (FPC) and marking of these products.
This standard is applicable to hand-fuelled intermittent burning multi-firing sauna stoves, which provide heat into the space where they are installed.
These multi-firing sauna stoves may be supplied either as an assembled appliance or as a manufacturer’s pre-designed unit consisting of pre-fabricated components designed to be built on site in accordance with the manufacturer’s specified assembly instructions. One-off installations are not included.
These multi-firing sauna stoves may burn only natural wood logs in accordance with the appliance operating instructions.
Single-firing heat storage sauna stoves, in which the stones are directly heated by the fire and the flue gases, which pass through them, are not covered by this European Standard. This standard is also not applicable to mechanically fed sauna stoves, sauna stoves having fan assisted combustion air, sauna stoves fitted with a boiler, sauna stoves with incorporated flue or sauna stoves having any electrical connection.

Mehrfach befeuerbare Saunaöfen zur Verfeuerung von naturbelassenem Scheitholz - Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren

Dieses Dokument ist anzuwenden für mehrfach befeuerbare Saunaöfen zur Verfeuerung von Naturholzscheiten (bei denen das Erhitzen der Steine getrennt von Feuer und Rauchgasen erfolgt und indirekt durch diese erhitzt wird und die mit mehreren Brennstoffladungen nachgefüllt werden können).
Der Verwendungszweck der Geräte ist Raumheizung in Wohngebäuden. Der beheizte Raum ist ein Saunaraum, der für kurze Zeit auf eine höhere Temperatur als die normale Raumtemperatur für Wellness- und Badezwecke aufgeheizt wird.
Diese Mehrfach-Saunaöfen können entweder als montiertes Gerät oder als vorgefertigte Einheit des Herstellers geliefert werden, die aus vorgefertigten Bauteilen besteht, die vor Ort gemäß der vom Hersteller angegebenen Montageanleitung zusammengebaut werden.
Die Geräte können wie angegeben folgende feste Brennstoffe verfeuern:
— Scheitholz;
Dieses Dokument ist nicht anzuwenden für
— mechanisch beschickte Geräte;
— Geräte mit Verbrennungsluftgebläse;
— einfach befeuerbare Speichersaunaöfen, in denen die Steine direkt durch das Feuer und die durch sie hin
durchströmende Abgase beheizt werden
—einmalige Installationen.
—Geräte mit wasserführenden Teilen oder mit einem Wasseranschluss.
Dieses Dokument legt das Verfahren für die Bewertung und Überprüfung der Leistungsbeständigkeit (AVCP) der Eigenschaften mehrfach befeuerbare Saunaöfen fest.

Le présent document s'applique aux poêles de sauna à allumage multiple à bûches de bois naturelles (dans lesquels les pierres chauffantes sont isolées des flammes et des fumées par lesquelles elles sont indirectement chauffées, et qui sont susceptibles d'être rechargés avec plusieurs charges de combustible).
L'usage prévu des appareils est le chauffage domestique dans les bâtiments résidentiels. L'espace chauffé est un sauna qui est chauffé à une température ambiante supérieure à la normale pour favoriser le bien-être des occupants du bain, sur une courte durée.
Ces poêles de sauna à allumage multiple peuvent être fournis sous la forme d'un appareil assemblé ou d'une unité conçue au préalable par le fabricant, constituée d'éléments préfabriqués, destinés à être montés sur le site conformément aux instructions d'assemblage spécifiées par le fabricant.
Ces appareils peuvent brûler les combustibles solides suivants, comme spécifié :
— bûches de bois.
Le présent document ne s'applique pas :
— aux appareils à alimentation mécanique ;
— aux appareils dont l'air de combustion est pulsé par un ventilateur ;
— aux poêles de sauna à accumulation de chaleur et allumage unique, dans lesquels les pierres sont directement chauffées par les flammes et les fumées qui les traversent ;
— aux installations provisoires ;
— aux appareils équipés d'un bouilleur ou raccordés à un système à eau.
Le présent document spécifie les procédures d'évaluation et de vérification de la constance des performances (EVCP) des caractéristiques des poêles de sauna à allumage multiple.
