Wastewater lifting plants for buildings and sites - Principles of construction and testing - Part 2: Lifting plants for faecal-free wastewater

This part of the European Standard applies to lifting plants for faecal-free wastewater in buildings and sites. It specifies methods for drainage of locations below flood level to prevent any back-flow of wastewater into the building. This part of this European Standard contains general requirements, basic construction and testing principles, together with advice on materials and quality surveillance.

Abwasserhebeanlagen für die Gebäude- und Grundstücksentwässerung - Bau- und Prüfgrundsätze - Teil 2: Abwasserhebeanlagen für fäkalienfreies Abwasser

Abwasserhebeanlagen für fäkalienfreies Abwasser nach dieser Norm werden für Entwässerungseinrichtungen nach den Richtlinien in EN (WG 21 TG 1) zur rückstausicheren Entsorgung von Ablaufstellen unterhalb der Rückstauebene. Diese Norm enthält allgemeine Anforderungen, Bau- und Prüfgrundsätze sowie Angaben zu Werkstoffen und zur Überwachung. Bau- und Prüfgrundsätze für Rückflußverhinderer für Abwasserhebeanlagen für fäkalienfreies Abwasser siehe EN-F Teil 4.

Les stations de relevage d'effluents exempts de matières fécales conformes à la présente norme sont installées dans les stations de drainage conformément aux prescriptions EN ... pour le drainage sans reflux de points de drainage situés au-dessous du niveau de reflux. La présente norme comprend des prescriptions générales ainsi que des principes de construction et d'essais et des indications sur les matériaux et la surveillance des installations.

-   at least two domestic sanitary appliances are installed in addition to the gully but with only one WC on the same branch (connection pipe) or secondary or branch ventilation is installed (see EN 12056 2:2000, 4.3.2 or 4.3.4.

NOTE   Limited application means that the number of users is small and the plant is located in the same room as the sanitary appliance(s) served by it ) which are installed in accordance with EN 12056–1 and the layout and calculation are in accordance with EN 12056–4.
This European Standard applies to lifting plants for limited applications designed for wastewater containing faecal matter, where there is another WC available above flood level, and the plants serve no more than a single WC to which it is directly connected (at a distance of max. 0,5 m) and one hand washbasin, one shower and one bidet provided no other sanitary appliance is directly or indirectly connected.
This European Standard also applies to lifting plants for limited applications designed for faecal free wastewater, where a maximum of one hand washbasin or kitchen sink plus one further appliance such as a bathtub or a washing machine or a shower or a dish washer or an urinal are connected. No other sanitary appliance shall be directly or indirectly connected.
This European Standard contains general requirements, basic construction and testing principles, together with information on materials.
Construction and testing requirements for non-return valves used in wastewater lifting plants for limited applications are given in EN 12050 4.
This European Standard does not apply for lifting plants for limited applications for wastewater containing faecal matter where WC flushing is carried out by pressure flush valve.
