This European Standard specifies the safety requirements and their verification for the design and construction of fixed guards to be opened or removed by the use of a tool and interlocking guards with or without guard locking for moving parts of the power transmission on self-propelled ride-on machines and mounted, semi-mounted or trailed machines used in agriculture. In addition, it specifies the type of information on safe working practices (including residual risks) to be provided by the manufacturer.
It deals with the significant hazards (as listed in Annex A), hazardous situations and events relevant for fixed guards to be opened or removed by the use of a tool and interlocking movable guards of moving parts of power transmission used as intended and under the conditions reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer (see Clause 4 and Clause 5).
It is not applicable to guards of moving parts of the power transmission of:
- agricultural and forestry tractors,
- aircraft and air cushion vehicles used in agriculture,
- lawn and garden equipment, or
- PTO drive shafts between agricultural and forestry tractors and mounted or towed implements.
Landmaschinen - Feststehende trennende Schutzeinrichtungen und trennende Schutzeinrichtungen mit Verriegelung mit oder ohne Verriegelungseinrichtung für bewegliche Teile der Kraftübertragung (ISO/TS 28923:2012, modifiziert)
Diese Europäische Norm enthält sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen und deren Überprüfung für Gestaltung und Konstruktion von feststehenden trennenden Schutzeinrichtungen, die mittels Werkzeug geöffnet oder entfernt werden, und von trennenden Schutzeinrichtungen mit Verriegelung mit oder ohne Verriegelungseinrichtung für bewegliche Teile der Kraftübertragung von selbstfahrenden Maschinen mit Fahrersitz und angebauten, aufgesattelten oder gezogenen Maschinen, die in der Landwirtschaft eingesetzt werden. Außerdem legt sie fest, welche Informationen über sicheres Arbeiten (einschließlich zu Restgefahren) vom Hersteller zur Verfügung zu stellen sind.
Sie behandelt signifikante Gefährdungen (siehe Anhang A), Gefährdungssituationen und Gefährdungs-ereignisse in Bezug auf feststehenden trennenden Schutzeinrichtungen, die mittels Werkzeug geöffnet oder entfernt werden, und von trennenden Schutzeinrichtungen mit Verriegelung mit oder ohne Verriegelungseinrichtung für bewegliche Teile der Kraftübertragung, wenn sie bestimmungsgemäß und unter den vom Hersteller vernünftigerweise vorhersehbaren Bedingungen verwendet werden (siehe Abschnitte 4 und 5).
Sie gilt nicht für Schutzeinrichtungen für bewegliche Teile der Kraftübertragung von:
- land- und forstwirtschaftlichen Traktoren;
- Luftfahr- und Luftkissenfahrzeuge, die in der Landwirtschaft eingesetzt werden;
- Rasen- und Gartengeräte;
- Schutzeinrichtungen von Zapfwellen-Gelenkwellen zwischen land- und forstwirtschaftlichen Traktoren und angebauten oder gezogenen Geräten.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences de sécurité et leurs vérifications pour la conception et la construction des protecteurs fixes s'ouvrant à l'aide d'un outil et des protecteurs mobiles avec dispositif de verrouillage pour les éléments mobiles de transmission de puissance des machines automotrices à conducteur porté et des machines portées, semi-portées ou traînées utilisées en agriculture. En outre, elle spécifie le type d'informations que le fabricant doit donner sur les pratiques d'utilisation sûre (y compris les risques résiduels).
Elle traite tous les phénomènes dangereux (tels que listés dans l'Annexe A), les situations et les événements dangereux significatifs applicables aux protecteurs fixes s'ouvrant à l'aide d'un outil et aux protecteurs mobiles avec dispositif de verrouillage pour les éléments mobiles de transmission de puissance lorsqu'ils sont utilisés normalement et dans les conditions prévues par le fabricant (voir l'Article 4 et l'Article 5).
Elle ne s'applique pas aux protecteurs des éléments mobiles de transmission de puissance des:
- tracteurs agricoles ou forestiers,
- aéronefs et véhicules sur coussin d'air utilisés en agriculture,
- matériels de jardinage ou horticole, ni
- arbres de transmission à cardans de prise de force entre tracteurs agricoles ou forestiers et machines portées ou traînées.

Ta evropski standard določa varnostne zahteve in njihovo preverjanje pri načrtovanju in izdelavi pritrjenih ščitnikov, ki se odpirajo z uporabo orodja, in spojenih premičnih ščitnikov za premične dele prenosa moči na samognanih strojih s sedežem ter na priklopnih, polpriklopnih ali vlečenih strojih, ki se uporabljajo v kmetijstvu. Določa tudi vrsto informacij o varnih delovnih praksah (vključno z ostalimi tveganji), ki jih mora zagotoviti proizvajalec. Obravnava vse velike nevarnosti (kot je navedeno v dodatku A), nevarne situacije in primere, ki se nanašajo na pritrjene ščitnike, ki se odpirajo z uporabo orodja, in spojene premične ščitnike za premične dele prenosa moči, kadar se uporabljajo v skladu z namembnostjo in pod pogoji, ki jih je predvidel proizvajalec (glej točki 4 in 5).
