Building acoustics - Estimation of acoustic performance of buildings from the performance of elements - Part 6: Sound absorption in enclosed spaces
This European Standard describes a calculation model to estimate the total equivalent sound absorption area or reverberation time of enclosed spaces in buildings. The calculation is primarily based on measured data that characterise the sound absorption of materials and objects. Calculations can only be carried out for frequency bands.
This European Standard describes the principles of the calculation model, lists the relevant quantities and defines its applications and restrictions. It is intended for acoustical experts and provides the framework for the development of application documents and tools for other users in the field of building construction, taking into account local circumstances.
The model is based on experience with predictions for rooms, such as rooms in dwellings and offices, and common spaces in buildings, such as stairwells, corridors and rooms containing machinery and technical equipment. It is not intended to be used for very large or irregularly-shaped spaces, such as concert halls, theatres and factories.

Die vorliegende Europäische Norm beschreibt ein Rechenmodell zur Ermittlung der äquivalenten Gesamt-Schallabsorptionsfläche oder der Nachhallzeit von Räumen in Gebäuden. Die Berechnung beruht hauptsächlich auf Messdaten, die die Schallabsorption von Materialien und Objekten beschreiben. Die Berechnungen können nur in Frequenzbändern erfolgen.
In dieser Europäischen Norm werden die Grundlagen des Rechenmodells beschrieben, die entsprechenden benötigten Größen aufgeführt sowie die Anwendung und die Beschränkungen des Modells festgelegt. Die Norm ist für Fachleute auf dem Gebiet der Akustik bestimmt und gibt den Rahmen für die Entwicklung von Anwendungsdokumenten und Hilfsmitteln für sonstige Anwender auf dem Gebiet des Hochbaus unter Berücksichtigung der örtlichen Bedingungen vor.
Das Modell beruht auf Erfahrungen mit Vorhersagen für Räume, wie Wohnräume und Büros, und für allgemein genutzte Räume in Gebäuden, wie Treppenhäuser, Korridore und Räume für Maschinen und technischen Einrichtungen. Es ist nicht für sehr große oder unregelmäßig ausgebildete Räume, wie Konzerthallen, Theater und Werksgebäude, vorgesehen.

Dokument opisuje računske modele, oblikovane za oceno skupne ekvivalentne zvočno absorpcijske površine ali odmevnega časa v zaprtih prostorih stavb. Izračun temelji predvsem na merilnih podatkih, ki opisujejo absorpcijo zvoka materialov in predmetov. Izračuni se lahko izvajajo le po frekvenčnih pasovih. Ta evropski standard opisuje osnove računskih shem, navaja relevantne veličine in opredeljuje njihovo uporabnost ter omejitve. Namenjen je strokovnjakom s področja akustike in podaja okvir za pripravo
uporabnih dokumentov ter orodij, namenjenih drugim uporabnikom na področju gradnje stavb, upoštevajoč lokalne posebnosti. Model temelji na izkušnjah z napovedovanjem za prostore, kot npr. prostore v stanovanjih in pisarne, ter za skupne prostore v stavbah, kot npr. stopnišča, predprostori ter prostori s stroji in tehničnimi napravami. Model ni namenjen za uporabo za zelo velike ali za nepravilno oblikovane prostore, kot so npr. koncertne dvorane, gledališča in tovarne.

NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Evropski standard EN 12354-6 je pripravil tehnični odbor Evropskega komiteja za standardizacijo
CEN/TC 126, Akustične lastnosti gradbenih proizvodov in stavb. Slovenski standard SIST EN 12354-
6:2004 je prevod evropskega standarda EN 12354-6:2003. V primeru spora glede besedila
slovenskega prevoda v tem standardu je odločilen izvirni evropski standard. Slovensko izdajo
standarda je pripravil tehnični odbor SIST/TC AKU Akustika.
Odločitev za izdajo tega standarda je dne 15. aprila 2004 sprejel SIST/TC AKU Akustika.
ZVEZA S STANDARDI
S privzemom tega evropskega standarda veljajo za omenjeni namen referenčnih standardov vsi
standardi, navedeni v izvirniku, razen tistih, ki so že sprejeti v nacionalno standardizacijo:
