Plastics piping systems - Buried and above ground piping components for water and other liquids under pressure - Requirements and test/assessment methods for pipes and fittings
This European Standard specifies requirements for plastics pipes and fittings for pressure applications for water supply, drainage, sewerage and irrigation, as well as for any other pressure application in which other liquids are conveyed with the exception of water intended for human consumption.
It is intended to be used for buried or above-ground conveyance of water, raw water prior to treatment, waste water, water for general purposes, vacuum-operated soil and waste conveyance and other liquids under pressure, for both outside and inside buildings.
It gives the associated test/assessment methods.
This standard does not cover adhesives, joint sealings and gaskets.
NOTE 1 For this standard the term fitting includes the term joint as meant by mandate M 131.
NOTE 2 Products complying with this document may be used for the transport of water intended for human consumption if they comply with the relevant national, regional or local regulatory provisions applicable in the place of use. Compliance of a product with this document does not confer a presumption of fitness of the product for the transport of water intended for human consumption within the meaning of the Directive 89/106/EEC.
NOTE 3 In some countries products used for the transport of raw water have to comply with the same requirements as products used for the transport of water for human consumption.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an Rohre und Formstücke aus Kunststoff für Druckrohrleitungs-systeme für die Wasserversorgung, Entwässerung, Abwasser und Bewässerung sowie für jede andere Anwen¬dung mit Flüssigkeiten unter Druck fest, ausgenommen die Verteilung von Wasser für den menschlichen Gebrauch.
Sie ist anzuwenden für den Transport von Wasser, Roh¬wasser, das zur Aufbe¬reitung von Trinkwasser verwendet wird, Abwasser, Brauchwasser, die Unter¬druck¬ent¬wässe¬rung und den Transport von anderen Flüssigkeiten unter Druck, in erd- und nicht erdverlegten Rohrleitungen, sowohl außerhalb als auch innerhalb von Gebäuden.
Sie enthält die erforderlichen Prüf-/Bewertungsverfahren.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für Klebstoffe und Dichtungen.
ANMERKUNG 1 Für die Anwendung dieser Norm beinhaltet der Begriff „Formstück“ den Begriff „Verbindung“ im Sinne von Mandat M/131.
ANMERKUNG 2 Produkte dürfen bei Übereinstimmung mit diesem Dokument für den Transport von Wasser für den mensch¬lichen Gebrauch verwendet werden, sofern sie die entsprechenden am Einsatzort geltenden nationalen, regio¬nalen oder örtlichen gesetzlichen Bestimmungen oder Empfehlungen erfüllen. Die Übereinstimmung eines Produktes mit diesem Dokument stellt keine Annahme der Gebrauchstauglichkeit des Produktes für den Transport von Wasser für den menschlichen Gebrauch im Sinne der Richtlinie 89/106/EWG dar.
ANMERKUNG 3 In einigen Ländern müssen Produkte für den Transport von Rohwasser denselben Anforderungen entsprechen wie Produkte, die für den Transport von Wasser für den menschlichen Gebrauch verwendet werden

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives aux tubes et raccords en plastique destinés aux applications avec pression pour l’alimentation en eau, l’assainissement et l’irrigation, ainsi qu’à toutes les applications avec pression dans lesquelles d’autres liquides sont transportés, à l’exception de l’eau destinée à la consommation humaine. Elle est destinée aux applications, enterrées ou aériennes, de transport d’eau, d’eau brute avant traitement, d’eaux usées, d’eau à usages généraux, de transport d’eaux-vannes et d’eaux usées sous dépression et de transport d’autres liquides avec pression, à l’extérieur et à l’intérieur des bâtiments. Elle indique les méthodes d’essai/d’évaluation associées. La présente norme ne couvre pas les adhésifs, les garnitures de joints et les joints d’étanchéité. NOTE 1 Pour la présente norme, le terme « raccord » inclut le terme « joint » au sens donné par le mandat M/131. NOTE 2 Les produits conformes au présent document peuvent être utilisés pour le transport de l’eau destinée à la consommation humaine à condition d’être conformes aux réglementations nationales, régionales ou locales applicables au lieu d’utilisation. La conformité d’un produit au présent document ne confère pas une présomption d'aptitude du produit pour le transport de l'eau destinée à la consommation humaine au sens de la Directive 89/106/CEE. NOTE 3 Dans certains pays, les produits utilisés pour le transport de l’eau brute doivent satisfaire aux mêmes exigences que les produits utilisés pour l’eau destinée à la consommation humaine.
