Roller sports equipment - Skateboards - Safety requirements and tests methods

This standard specifies requirements for non-motorized skateboards which are supplied for use by one rider at a time.
The skateboards covered by this standard are graded by performance criteria for different categories of body weight.
This standard is not applicable for skateboards for use by a rider up to 20 kg. EN 71-1 is applicable for those.
This standard does not apply to individual components.

Diese Norm legt Anforderungen an Skateboards ohne Motorantrieb, die zum Gebrauch durch einen Fahrer
angeboten werden, fest.
Die Skateboards, die in dieser Norm behandelt werden, sind in Leistungsstufen nach unterschiedlichen
Körpergewichtsklassen eingeteilt.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für Skateboards zur Benutzung durch einen Fahrer bis zu 20 kg. Für diese gilt EN 71-1.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für einzelnen Bauteile.

La présente norme spécifie des exigences relatives aux planches à roulettes non motorisées conçues pour être utilisées par un utilisateur à la fois.
Les planches à roulettes couvertes par la présente norme sont classées en fonction de critères de performances en différentes catégories basées sur la masse corporelle.
Les planches à roulettes conçues pour être utilisées par un utilisateur pesant moins de 20 kg ne sont pas couvertes par la présente norme européenne. Ces dernières sont couvertes par l'EN 71-1.
La présente norme ne s'applique pas aux composants individuels.

EN 13613:2009 (E) 3 Foreword This document (EN 13613:2009) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 136 “Sports, playground and other recreational equipment”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2009, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by October 2009. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights.
