Railway applications - Fire protection on railway vehicles - Part 7: Fire safety requirements for flammable liquid and flammable gas installations

This part specifies requirements for flammable liquids and liquefied petroleum gas installations, e.g. for traction, auxiliary power units, heating or cooking, to cover the objectives defined in CEN/TS 45545-1. This part is not applicable to technical liquids themselves, e.g. hydraulic liquid, transformer oil, except where guidance is given as to dealing with spillages, leakage and spray generation. The measures and requirements specified in this Technical Specification aim to protect passengers and staff in railway vehicles by preventing a fire from occurring and spreading by leakage of flammable liquids or gases. It is not within the scope of this Technical Specification to describe measures for flammable gases, other than liquefied petroleum gases. It is not within the scope of this Technical Specification to describe measures that ensure the preservation of the vehicles in the event of a fire.

La présente Partie spécifie les exigences relatives aux installations de liquides inflammables et de gaz de pétrole liquéfié, par exemple pour la traction, les groupes de puissance auxiliaire, le chauffage ou la cuisine, afin de répondre aux objectifs définis dans la CEN/TS 45545-1. La présente Partie n’est pas applicable aux liquides techniques en eux-mêmes, par exemple le liquide hydraulique, l’huile de transformateur, sauf dans le cas où une directive est donnée telle que sur la lutte contre les déversements accidentels, les fuites et la génération d’un brouillard. L’objectif des mesures et des exigences spécifiées dans cette Spécification Technique est la protection des voyageurs et du personnel de bord dans les véhicules ferroviaires en prévenant l’ignitions et la propagation de l’incendie par suite d’une fuite de liquides ou de gaz inflammables. La description des mesures à prendre au sujet des gaz inflammables autres que les gaz de pétrole liquéfié n’entre pas dans le domaine d’application de cette Spécification Technique. La description des mesures de conservation du matériel ferroviaire lors d’un incendie n’entre pas dans le domaine d’application de cette Spécification Technique.

Ta del specificira zahteve za vnetljive tekočine in inštalacije z vnetljivimi plini, npr. za vleko, pomožne močnostne enote, gretje ali kuhanje, ki so opredeljeni v CEN/TS 45545-1. Ta del se ne uporablja za tehnične tekočine, kot so hidravlična tekočina, transformatorsko olje, razen tistih, za katere obstajajo navodila, npr. ravnanje ob izlitju, iztekanju in nastajanju par. This Technical Specification (CEN/TS) was approved by CEN on 8 June 2008 for provisional application.

The period of validity of this CEN/TS is limited initially to three years. After two years the members of CEN/CENELEC will be requested to
submit their comments, particularly on the question whether the CEN/TS can be converted into a European Standard.

CEN and CENELEC members are required to announce the existence of this CEN/TS in the same way as for an EN and to make the
CEN/TS available promptly at national level in an appropriate form. It is permissible to keep conflicting national standards in force (in
parallel to the CEN/TS) until the final decision about the possible conversion of the CEN/TS into an EN is reached.

Tehnično specifikacijo CEN/TS 45545-7:2009 je pripravil tehnični odbor Evropskega komiteja za standardizacijo CEN in Evropskega komiteja za standardizacijo v elektrotehniki CENELEC CEN/CL/JWG FPR Požarna zaščita na železniških vozilih.
Slovenska tehnična specifikacija SIST-TS CEN/TS 45545-7:2009 je prevod angleškega besedila tehnične specifikacije CEN/TS 45545-7:2009. V primeru spora glede besedila slovenskega prevoda v tej tehnični specifikaciji je odločilno izvirno besedilo tehnične specifikacije v angleškem jeziku. Slovensko izdajo tehnične specifikacije je pripravil tehnični odbor SIST/TC ŽEN.
Odločitev za privzem te tehnične specifikacije je na svoji prvi dopisni seji 12. januarja 2009 sprejel tehnični odbor SIST/TC ŽEN. ZVEZE S STANDARDI

To tehnično specifikacijo (CEN/TS) je potrdil CEN 8. junija 2008 za začasno uporabo.
Trajanje veljavnosti te CEN/TS je omejeno na tri leta. Po dveh letih se bo od članic CEN/CENELEC zahtevalo posredovanje njihovih komentarjev, zlasti o vprašanju preoblikovanja CEN/TS v evropski standard.
Od članic CEN in CENELEC se zahteva, da objavijo to CEN/TS na enak način kot EN in omogočijo dostopnost CEN/TS v primerni obliki na nacionalni ravni. Nasprotujoči nacionalni standardi lahko ostanejo v veljavi (skupaj s CEN/TS), dokler ne bo doseženo preoblikovanje CEN/TS v EN.
