105 1 Scope
106 This document specifies test methods for sEMG sensors by evaluating the quality of sEMG
107 signals obtained from contracting muscles of forearm and hand for wearable applications. It is
108 applicable to sEMG sensors that are used to decipher movement intentions and use them as
109 control signals in situations such as virtual reality, game/UAV/robot control, and home
110 automation. It is not applicable to sEMG sensors intended for medical applications.
