Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Part 2-14: Particular requirements for kitchen machines
Replace the third paragraph including Note 102 by the following: Appliances intended to be used by laymen in shops and other premises for normal housekeeping purposes, are within the scope of this standard. NOTE Z101 Examples of appliance for household environment are appliances for typical housekeeping functions used in the household environment that may also be used by non expert users for typical housekeeping functions: - in shops and other similar working environments; - in farm houses; - by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; - in bed and breakfast type environments. NOTE Z102 Household environments include the dwelling and its associated buildings, the garden, etc. Replace the fourth paragraph by the following: As far as is practicable, this standard deals with the common hazards presented by appliances that are encountered by all persons in household and similar environments. However, in general, it does not take into account children playing with appliances and their use by very young children. It does not take into account the use of the following appliances by young children and by older children: 1) bean slicers; 2) berry-juice extractors; 3) blenders and hand-held blenders; 4) centrifugal juicers; 5) coffee mills not exceeding 500 g hopper capacity; 6) churns; 7) food mixers; 8) food processors; 9) grain grinders not exceeding 3 l hopper capacity; 10) knife sharpeners; 11) knives; 12) mincers; 13) noodle makers; 14) potato peelers; 15) shredders; 16) sieving machines; 17) slicing machines. It does not take into account also the use of the following appliances by young children without supervision: 18) can openers; 19) citrus-fruit squeezers; 20) cream whippers; 21) egg beaters; 22) graters; 23) ice-cream machines, including those for use in refrigerators and freezers. It is recognized that very vulnerable people may have needs beyond the level addressed in this standard.

IEC 60335-2-14:2016 Traite de la sécurité des machines de cuisine électriques, pour usages domestiques et analogues, dont la tension assignée n'est pas supérieure à 250 V. Comme exemples d'appareils entrant dans le domaine d'application de la présente norme, on peut citer les machines à couper les haricots; les mélangeurs; les ouvers-boîtes; les barattes; les batteurs; les preparateurs culinaires; les affûte-couteaux; les couteaux; les hachoirs; les appareils pour faire des nouilles; les éplucheuses de pommes de terre; et les machines à tamiser.

Ta del standarda IEC 60335 zadeva varnost električnih kuhinjskih strojev za gospodinjske in podobne namene, katerih nazivna napetost ne presega 250 V.
OPOMBA 101: Primeri aparatov, ki spadajo na področje uporabe tega standarda:
– rezalniki fižola;
– sokovniki za jagodičevje;
– mešalniki;
– odpirači za konzerve;
– centrifugalni sokovniki;
– naprave za penjenje;
– ožemalniki za agrume;

– stepalniki za smetano;
– stepalniki za jajca;
– mešalniki za hrano;
– aparati za pripravo hrane;
– aparati za mletje, s prostornino zbirnega lijaka največ 3 l;
– strgalniki;
– stroji za pripravo sladoleda, vključno s tistimi za uporabo v hladilnikih in zamrzovalnikih;
– brusilniki nožev;
– noži;
– aparati za mletje;
– aparati za pripravo rezancev;
– lupilniki za krompir;
– rezalniki;
– presejevalni stroji;
– stroji za rezanje na rezine.
Področje uporabe tega standarda zajema aparate, ki so namenjeni za običajno gospodinjsko in podobno uporabo ter tudi za laično uporabo v trgovinah, lahki industriji in na kmetijah.
Če je aparat namenjen za strokovno uporabo za predelavo hrane za komercialno uporabo, se ne šteje, da je njegova uporaba le gospodinjska ali podobna.
OPOMBA 102: Uporaba kuhinjskega stroja na primer v gostiščih se šteje za gospodinjsko uporabo.
Ta standard v največji možni meri obravnava splošne nevarnosti, ki jih predstavljajo aparati ter s katerimi se srečujejo osebe doma in v okolici doma. Vendar na splošno ne vključuje primerov:
– oseb (vključno z otroki), ki zaradi
• fizičnih, senzoričnih ali umskih sposobnosti oziroma
• pomanjkanja izkušenj in znanja ne morejo varno uporabljati aparata brez nadzora ali navodil;
– otrok, ki se igrajo z aparatom.
OPOMBA 103: Opozoriti je treba, da:
– so za aparate, ki so namenjeni za uporabo v vozilih ali na krovu ladij ali letal, morda potrebne dodatne zahteve;
– v številnih državah nacionalni zdravstveni organi, nacionalni organi, odgovorni za varstvo pri delu, ter drugi podobni organi določajo dodatne zahteve.
OPOMBA 104: Ta standard se ne uporablja za:
– stroje za rezanje na rezine, ki imajo krožni nož, rezilo katerega je nagnjeno pod navpičnim kotom, večjim od 45°;
– drobilnike odpadne hrane (IEC 60335-2-16);
– aparate za pripravo sladoleda z vgrajenim motornim kompresorjem (IEC 60335-2-24);
– kuhinjske stroje za komercialne namene (IEC 60335-2-64);
– kuhinjske stroje za industrijske namene;
– kuhinjske stroje, ki so namenjeni za uporabo na lokacijah, kjer veljajo posebne razmere, kot je prisotnost korozivne ali eksplozivne atmosfere (prah, hlapi ali plin).
