This document provides the icons to specify the function and to indicate status of the serviced offices and their services. The icons are used as the user interfaces for searching, booking, and advertising applications for serviced offices. This document specifies basic icons that define the functions of all serviced offices, and also specifies additional and miscellaneous icons that indicate other services. The functions specified by the icons include facilities, equipment and services for fulfilling various user needs such as working style, tools, amenities, language and accessibility needs, including older persons, etc.

Introduction
For a serviced office that is defined as a part of third workplace (i.e. non-home, non-office), there are a
variety of service forms and usage patterns. When users look for a serviced office from websites or by search
application, it is convenient if there are icons that represent available services of serviced offices. In such a
case, it is important to maintain consistency between icon representation for a service of a serviced office
and the perceived service of the icon user. This document defines icons for use on websites or applications
for searching for serviced offices.

4 General principles
4.1 Overview
This document covers functions and graphics of icons that are specifying services of serviced offices and
used for the application program (APP) designed for searching and booking the services provided by the
serviced offices. The general information and framework of icons are given in ISO/IEC 11581-1.
This document does not cover icons graphics corresponding to a binary state of the services such as the
state of availability and unavailability, which should be represented as graphical symbols standardized in
IEC 60417, ISO 7000, ISO 7001 and ISO 7010.
NOTE ISO 80416-4 provides information for the adaptation of graphical symbols as icons.
4.2 Use of icons representing services
Each of the icons specified in this document shall be used to indicate a specific kind of services with either
their functions or states, or both. They are intended to be used in APPs to search and recognize an available
state of a serviced office by specifying necessary search criteria such as a region and available public
transportation.
The icon graphic should be used as an entry point to select one or multiple options or to recognize the
current states of services provided by the serviced office, and then it can lead to registration or booki

4.2 Use of icons representing services
Each of the icons specified in this document shall be used to indicate a specific kind of services with either
their functions or states, or both. They are intended to be used in APPs to search and recognize an available
state of a serviced office by specifying necessary search criteria such as a region and available public
transportation.
The icon graphic should be used as an entry point to select one or multiple options or to recognize the current
states of services provided by the serviced office, and then it can lead to registration or booking procedure for
the service.
It is recommended to use the icon graphics specified in this document as they are. As specified in ISO/IEC
11581-1 and ISO/IEC 11581-2, depending on needs they can be modified in terms of visual appearance,
including the use of colours, to enhance appearance as well as to indicate the dynamic state of related services
as far as the original intended functionality has been kept. Though variation of icon graphics is allowed, that
shall not lead to a different service.
5 Icons for representing services
5.1 General
Icons for representing basic, additional, and miscellaneous services in serviced offices shall be used in
accordance with Clause 5Clause 5.
The detailed services may be evoked by accessing the dedicated icon.
NOTE Square frames surrounding icons graphics indicate hot spots of icons and are not parts of icon graphics.
5.2 Icons for representing basic services
5.2.1 General
The icons in 5.25.2 are representing represent basic services of serviced offices.
5.2.2 internetInternet connection
a) Function: To identify access to the information related to internet connection that includes:
1) type of connection: wired or wireless;
2) connection speed;
3) security level: WPA, WPA2, WPA3, VPN etc.

1) concentrate work;
2) web (internet) meeting;
3) face to face meeting;

5.2.5 Booking
a) Function: To identify entry to the registration process and booking procedure. The booking icon should
be displayed whenever the user attempts to use a service that requires a booking.

1) Registration : Typically, a registration process is invoked by clicking a registration button that is
shown in this window. The registration process is generally divided into a sign-in process for a user
who is already a member, and a subscription process for a new member, each of which requires
different input items.

a) Function: To identify access to the information related to services that are acting on behalf of the physical
office functions that includes:
1) receptionist;
2) mail pickup;
3) secretary.
NOTE Granting corporate registration is not aan agency service, but is typically provided as a service of a
serviced office.

a) Function: To identify access to the information related to the internet (web) meeting that includes:
