This part of ISO 105 specifies a method intended for determining the resistance of the colour of textiles of all kinds, except loose fibres, to the action of weather as determined by exposure to simulated weathering conditions in a cabinet equipped with a xenon arc lamp. ISO 105-B04 focuses on textiles (such as apparel) where the main evaluation criteria is the colour fastness.
This method can be used to determine if a textile is wet light-sensitive.
NOTE 1 General information on colour fastness to light is given in Annex A.
NOTE 2 Textiles or technical textiles, which are permanently exposed to an outdoor environment and/or require mechanical testing (such as tensile strength determination) may be tested according to ISO 105-B10.

Dieser Teil von ISO 105 legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Einflusses der Bewitterungseinflüsse auf die Farbe von Textilien aller Art, mit Ausnahme von losen Fasern, fest, der durch die Einwirkung künstlicher Bewitterungsbedingungen in einem mit einer Xenonbogenlampe ausgestatteten Gerät bestimmt wird. Dieses Dokument betrifft Textilien (z. B. Bekleidung), bei denen das wichtigste Bewertungskriterium die Farbechtheit ist.
Mit diesem Verfahren kann festgestellt werden, ob ein Textil gegen die kombinierte Wirkung von Licht und Wasser empfindlich ist.

ANMERKUNG 2   ISO 105 B10 enthält eine Anleitung zur Prüfung von Textilien oder technischen Textilien, die dauerhaft einer Außenumgebung ausgesetzt sind und/oder mechanische Prüfungen (z. B. Bestimmung der Zugfestigkeit) erfordern.

Le présent document spécifie une méthode destinée à déterminer l’effet sur les coloris des textiles de toute nature, sauf sur les fibres en bourre, de l’action des intempéries par exposition à des conditions d’intempéries simulées dans une enceinte d’essai équipée d’une lampe à arc au xénon. Le présent document est axé sur les textiles (tels que les vêtements) pour lesquels le principal critère d’évaluation est la solidité des coloris.
La présente méthode peut être utilisée pour déterminer la sensibilité d’un textile à l’effet combiné de la lumière et de l’eau.
NOTE 1        Des informations générales sur la solidité des coloris à la lumière sont données à l’Annexe A.
NOTE 2        L’ISO 105-B10 fournit des recommandations relatives aux essais des textiles ou textiles techniques, qui sont exposés de façon permanente à un environnement extérieur et/ou qui exigent des essais mécaniques (détermination de la résistance à la traction, par exemple).

Ta del standarda ISO 105 določa metodo za določevanje barvne obstojnosti vseh vrst tekstilij, razen prostih vlaken, na vpliv vremena pri izpostavljenosti simuliranim vremenskim vplivom v omarici s pojemajočo obločno ksenonsko svetilko. Standard ISO 105-B04 se osredotoča na tekstilije (npr. oblačila), pri katerih je glavno merilo ocenjevanja obstojnost barve.
To metodo je mogoče uporabiti za ugotavljanje občutljivosti tekstilije na svetlobo v mokrih pogojih.
OPOMBA 1: Splošne informacije o barvni obstojnosti na svetlobo so podane v dodatku A.
OPOMBA 2: Tekstilije ali tehnične tekstilije, ki so stalno izpostavljene zunanjemu okolju in/ali pri katerih je potrebno mehansko preskušanje (npr. ugotavljanje natezne trdnosti), se lahko preskusijo v skladu s standardom ISO 105-B10.
