Cranes - Power driven winches and hoists - Part 2: Power driven hoists

This European Standard is applicable to the design, information for use, maintenance and testing of power driven hoists with or without trolleys for which the prime mover is an electric, hydraulic or pneumatic motor. They are designed for the lifting and lowering of loads which are suspended on hooks or other load lifting attachments. Hoists can be used either in cranes, in other machines, e.g. rail dependent storage and retrieval equipment, monorail conveyors or by itself.
This European Standard is applicable to the following types of hoist:
a)   rope hoist;
b)   chain hoist;
c)   belt hoist, except belt hoist with steel belts as hoisting media;
d)   open type hoist;
e)   NGL building hoists including supporting structures.
This European Standard is not applicable of the following hazards:
i)   this European Standard does not cover hazards related to builders hoists for the transport of goods as defined in Noise Outdoor Directive (OND) 2000/14/EC;
ii)   this European Standard does not cover hazards related to the lifting of persons.
NOTE   The use of hoists for the lifting of persons may be subject to specific national regulations.
This European Standard does not specify additional requirements for hazards related to the use of hoists in explosive atmospheres in underground works.
The significant hazards covered by this European Standard are identified in Clause 4.
This document is not applicable to power driven hoists which are manufactured before the date of publication of this European Standard by CEN.

Dieses Dokument gilt für die Konstruktion, Betriebsanleitung, Wartung und Prüfung von kraft¬getriebenen Hubwerken, in kompakter oder offener Bauweise, mit oder ohne Fahrwerke, deren Hauptantriebselement ein elektrischer, hydraulischer oder pneumatischer Motor ist. Sie sind für das Heben und Senken von an Haken oder anderen Lastaufnahmemitteln hängenden Lasten konstruiert. Hubwerke können entweder in Kranen, in anderen Maschinen, z. B. Regalbediengeräten, Einschienenbahnen oder für sich selbst verwendet werden.
Dieses Dokument gilt für die folgenden Hubwerkstypen:
a)   Seilzug;
b)   Kettenzug;
c)   Bandzug, ausgenommen Bandzüge mit Stahlbändern als Tragmittel;
d)   Bauaufzüge für nicht geführte Lasten einschließlich Tragkonstruktionen;
e)   Winden für Hubvorgänge.
Dieses Dokument umfasst nicht die folgenden Gefährdungen:
f)   dieses Dokument erfasst nicht Gefährdungen durch Bauaufzüge für den Transport von Gütern, wie in der Outdoor-Lärmschutzrichtlinie (OND, en: Outdoor Noise Directive) 2000/14/EG definiert;
g)   dieses Dokument erfasst nicht Gefährdungen beim Heben von Personen.

Le présent document s’applique à la conception, à l’information pour l’utilisation, à la maintenance et aux essais relatifs aux palans/treuils de levage motorisés, de construction compacte ou ouverte, avec ou sans chariot, dont le moteur principal est électrique, hydraulique ou pneumatique. Ces palans/treuils de levage sont conçus pour le levage et la descente de charges suspendues à des crochets ou d’autres dispositifs de préhension. Les palans/treuils de levage peuvent être utilisés dans des appareils de levage à charge suspendue, dans d’autres machines, par exemple, transstockeurs, transporteurs monorails, ou de manière autonome.
Le présent document s’applique aux types de palans/treuils de levage suivants :
a)   palan/treuil de levage à câble ;
b)   palan/treuil de levage à chaîne ;
c)   palan/treuil de levage à sangle, à l’exception des palans/treuils de levage à sangle avec des sangles en acier utilisées comme agrès de levage ;
d)   treuils potence de chantier, y compris les structures porteuses ;
e)   treuils utilisés pour les opérations de levage.
Le présent document ne s’applique pas aux phénomènes dangereux suivants :
f)   le présent document ne couvre pas les phénomènes dangereux relatifs aux monte-matériaux destinés au transport de marchandises tels que définis dans la Directive 2000/14/CE (Émissions sonores des matériels utilisés à l'extérieur des bâtiments) ;
g)   le présent document ne couvre pas les phénomènes dangereux relatifs au levage de personnes.
Le présent document ne spécifie pas de prescriptions supplémentaires pour les phénomènes dangereux relatifs à l’utilisation des palans/treuils de levage en atmosphères explosives dans les mines souterraines.

Zasnovani so za dvigovanje in spuščanje tovora, ki je obešen na kavlje ali druge pritrdilne elemente za dvigovanje tovora. Dvižne mehanizme je mogoče uporabiti v žerjavih, v drugih strojih, npr. regalnih dvigalih in opremi, samohodnih transporterjih ali same.
Ta evropski standard se uporablja za naslednje vrste dvižnih mehanizmov:
a) vrvni dvižni mehanizem;
b) verižni dvižni mehanizem;
