Protective clothing - Electrostatic properties - Part 1: Surface resistivity (Test methods and requirements)

This European Standard specifies electrostatic requirements and test methods for electrostatic dissipative protective clothing to avoid incendiary discharges. The requirements may not be sufficient in oxygen enriched flammable atmospheres and the test method is not applicable for fabrics with core conducting fibres. This standard is not applicable for protection against mains voltages.   Note: Further information is given in the informative Annex A.

Schutzkleidung - Elektrostatische Eigenschaften - Teil 1: Oberflächenwiderstand (Prüfverfahren und Anforderungen)

Diese Europäische Norm legt für elektrostatisch ableitfähige Schutzkleidung die elektrostatischen Anforderungen zur Vermeidung von zündfähigen Entladungen und die entsprechenden Prüfverfahren fest. In brennbaren Atmosphären, die mit Sauerstoff angereichert sind, können die Anforderungen möglicherweise nicht genügen. Das Prüfverfahren ist für Materialien mit Fasern mit leitfähiger Seele nicht anwendbar. Diese Norm ist nicht auf den Schutz gegen Netzspannung anwendbar. Vetements de protection - Propriétés électrostatiques - Partie 1: Résistivité de surface (méthodes d'essai et exigences)

Cette norme européenne spécifie les exigences électrostatiques et les méthodes d'essais pour les vetements de protection dissipant l'électricité statique pour éviter les étincelles pouvant provoquer un incendie.Ces exigences risquent de ne pas etre suffisantes dans les atmospheres inflammables enrichies en oxygene et la méthode d'essai n'est pas applicable aux tissus contenant des fibres a coeur conducteur. La norme n'est pas applicable pour la protection contre les tensions du secteur. Note: Une information supplémentaire est donnée dans l'annexe informative A.
