This part of ISO 20957 specifies safety requirements for rowing equipment in addition to the general safety requirements of ISO 20957-1 and should be read in conjunction with it.
This part of ISO 20957 is applicable to rowing type stationary training equipment, hereinafter referred to as rowing equipment, within the classes H, S and I as well as classes A, B and C regarding accuracy.

Dieses Dokument legt sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen für Rudergeräte fest.
Es ist vorgesehen dieses Dokument in Verbindung mit den allgemeinen sicherheitstechnischen Anforderungen nach ISO 20957 1, anzuwenden.
Dieses Dokument gilt für stationäre Trainingsgeräte mit Ruderfunktion, hiernach als Rudergeräte bezeichnet, innerhalb der Klassen H, S und I, und der Klassen A, B und C, bezüglich Genauigkeit.

CEN/TC 136, Sports, playground and other recreational facilities and equipment, in collaboration with

ISO Technical Committee ISO/TC 83, Sports and other recreational facilities and equipment, in accordance

with the Agreement on technical cooperation between ISO and CEN (Vienna Agreement).

This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (ISO 20957-7:2005), which has been technically

revised.
