Pipework - Corrugated metal hose assemblies for combustible gas - Performance requirements, testing and marking

This European Standard specifies general requirements for material, design, manufacture, testing, marking and documentation of corrugated metal hose assemblies for gas of diameter up to DN 300 for gases of the 2nd and 3rd families according to EN 437.
This European Standard applies to:
Corrugated metal hose assemblies for gas for the supply of combustible gas and having a maximum operating pressure (MOP) less than or equal to 16 bar in a temperature range of -20 °C to 150 °C.
This European Standard does not apply to
-  corrugated metal hose assemblies for gas for engines including turbines and internal combustion engines as stated by Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC,
-  corrugated metal hose assemblies for the connection of domestic appliances using gaseous fuels according to EN 14800,
-  corrugated metal hose assemblies for gas buried in earth,
-  corrugated metal hose assemblies with non–permanent detachable end fittings.
Users of this European Standard shall take into account national standards and existing code of practice in the country of destination.

Rohrleitungen - Gewellte Metallschlauchleitungen für brennbare Gase - Leistungsanforderungen, Prüfung und Kennzeichnung

Diese Europäische Norm legt die allgemeinen Anforderungen an Werkstoffe, Auslegung, Fertigung, Prüfung, Kennzeichnung und Dokumentation von gewellten Metallschlauchleitungen für Gase der zweiten und dritten Familie nach EN 437 mit einer Nennweite bis DN 300 fest.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für:
gewellte Metallschlauchleitungen für die Gasversorgung von Druckgeräten bei einem maximal zulässigen Betriebsdruck (MOP) kleiner als oder gleich 16 bar für einen Temperaturbereich von  20 °C bis 150 °C.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für:
   gewellte Metallschlauchleitungen für Gase für Kraftmaschinen einschließlich Turbinen und Verbrennungsmotoren nach der Druckgeräte Richtlinie 97/23/EG;
   gewellte Metallschlauchleitungen für den Anschluss von Haushaltsgeräten für gasförmige Brennstoffe nach EN 14800;
   erdverlegte gewellte Metallschlauchleitungen für Gase;
   gewellte Metallschlauchleitungen mit nicht fest angebrachten, lösbaren Anschlussteilen.
Anwender dieser Europäischen Norm müssen nationale Normen und im Bestimmungsland vorhandene Regeln der Technik beachten.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences générales pour les matériaux, la conception, la fabrication, les essais, le marquage et la documentation des tuyauteries métalliques flexibles onduleuses destinées au gaz, d'un diamètre maximal de DN 300 pour les gaz des deuxième et troisième catégories conformes à l'EN 437.
La présente Norme européenne est applicable aux :
tuyauteries métalliques flexibles onduleuses destinées à l'alimentation en gaz et dont la pression maximale de service (MOP) est inférieure ou égale à 16 bar dans une plage de températures de -20 °C à 150 °C.
La présente Norme européenne ne s’applique pas aux
   tuyauteries métalliques flexibles onduleuses pour les gaz destinées aux moteurs, y compris les turbines et les moteurs à combustion interne tels que cités dans la directive sur les équipements sous pression 97/23/CE,
   tuyauteries métalliques flexibles onduleuses destinées aux branchements d'appareils domestiques utilisant des gaz combustibles conformes à l'EN 14800,
   tuyauteries métalliques flexibles onduleuses pour le gaz enfouies dans le sol ,
   tuyauteries métalliques flexibles onduleuses équipées de raccords d'extrémité non permanents amovibles.
Les utilisateurs de la présente Norme européenne doivent tenir compte des normes nationales et des codes de bonnes pratiques existants dans le pays de destination.

EN 16617:2015 (E) 5 1 Scope This European Standard specifies general requirements for material, design, manufacture, testing, marking and documentation of corrugated metal hose assemblies for gas of diameter up to DN 300 for gases of the 2nd and 3rd families according to EN 437. This European Standard applies to: Corrugated metal hose assemblies for gas for the supply of combustible gas and having a maximum operating pressure (MOP) less than or equal to 16 bar. These design requirements shall ensure that the construction of corrugated metal hose assemblies for gas, when properly installed and correctly used, under normal chemical, mechanical and thermal conditions will provide long term safe operation without degradation.
