This International Standard specifies the characteristics of slotted set screws with flat point and thread sizes from M1,2 to M12 inclusive and product grade A. If other specifications are required, they can be selected from existing International Standards, for example ISO 261, ISO 888, ISO 898-5, ISO 965-2, ISO 3506-3, ISO 4759-1.

Die vorliegende Internationale Norm legt die Eigenschaften von Gewindestiften mit Schlitz und Kegelstumpf
mit Gewindegrößen von M1,2 bis einschließlich M12, Produktklasse A, fest.
Werden in besonderen Fällen andere Festlegungen, als die in der vorliegenden Internationalen Norm
aufgeführten, benötigt, so sind diese den bestehenden Internationalen Normen zu entnehmen, z. B. ISO 261,
ISO 888, ISO 898-5, ISO 965-2, ISO 3506-3 und ISO 4759-1.

Ta mednarodni standard določa značilnosti navojnih zatičev z zarezo in posneto končino od M1,2 do vključno M12 razreda izdelave A. Če so potrebne druge specifikacije, se lahko izberejo med obstoječimi mednarodnimi standardi, na primer ISO 261, ISO 888, ISO 898-5, ISO 965-2, ISO 3506-3 in ISO 4759-1.
