This document contains terms and definitions applicable to health and safety in welding and allied processes. It is intended to be referenced in other documents dealing with this subject. In cases where such documents provide terms and definitions differing from those contained herein, the terms and definitions given in those documents apply.
In the main body of this document, terms are arranged in a systematic order. Annex A to C provide indexes in which all terms are listed alphabetically in English, French and German, with reference to the appropriate subclauses and translations of the terms in each and other languages.

Ta dokument vsebuje izraze in definicije s področja zdravja in varnosti pri varjenju in sorodnih postopkih. Namenjen je sklicevanju v drugih dokumentih, ki obravnavajo te vsebine. Kadar so v takšnih dokumentih podani izrazi in definicije, ki se razlikujejo od tistih v tem dokumentu, se uporabljajo izrazi in definicije iz teh dokumentov.

This document (EN ISO 25901-2:2023) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 44 "Welding
and allied processes" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 121 “Welding and allied
processes” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by July 2023, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by July 2023.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
