ETSIETSIEN300224-1V1.3.1(2001-01)136Electricaltestconditions6.1NormaltestsignalsandtestmodulationThetestmodulationsignalisabasebandsignalwhichmodulatesacarrierandisdependentuponthetypeofequipmentundertestandalsothemeasurementtobeperformed.6.1.1NormaltestsignalsforanaloguespeechThesetestsignalsaredefinedas:A-M1:a1000Hztone;A-M2:a1250Hztone.ThenormallevelofthetestsignalsA-M1andA-M2shallproduceadeviationof12%ofthechannelseparationoranylowervalueasdeclaredbythemanufacturerasthenormaloperatinglevel.A-M3:a400Hztone,atalevelwhichproducesadeviationof12%ofthechannelseparation.Thissignalisusedasanunwantedsignalforanalogueanddigitalmeasurements.6.1.2NormaltestsignalsfordataThistestsignalisdefinedas:D-M3:atestsignalshallbeagreedbetweentheaccreditedtestlaboratoryandthemanufacturerincaseselectivemessagesareusedandaregeneratedordecodedwithintheequipment.Theagreedtestsignalmaybeformattedandmaycontainerrordetectionandcorrection.ThenormallevelofthetestsignalD-M3shallproduceadeviationof20%ofthechannelseparationoranyothervalueasdeclaredbythemanufacturerasthenormaloperatinglevel.Fortestpurposesifspecialequipmentisrequiredtogenerateorindicatecorrectacceptanceofthemessages,itshallbesuppliedbythemanufacturer.6.2ArtificialloadTestsshallbecarriedoutusinganartificialloadwhichshallbeasubstantiallynon-reactivenon-radiatingloadof50Ωconnectedtotheantennaconnector.6.3TestfixturefortransmitterswithanintegralantennaWithequipmentintendedforusewithanintegralantenna,andnotequippedwitha50Ω outputconnection,themanufacturermayberequiredtosupplyatestfixture.Thistestfixtureisaradiofrequencycouplingdeviceforcouplingtheintegralantennatoa50Ω radiofrequencyterminalattheworkingfrequenciesoftheequipmentundertest.Thisallowscertainmeasurementstobeperformedusingconductedmeasuringmethods.Onlyrelativemeasurementsmaybeperformed.Ifapplicablethetestfixtureshallprovide:-aconnectiontoanexternalpowersupply;-anaudiointerfaceeitherbydirectconnectionorbyanacousticcoupler.SIST EN 300 224-1 V1.3.1:2003
