The appropriate tolerances are shown at the head of each column of the table ofdimensions. Flange thickness should be 0,4 mm minimum.Length of terminal pins depends on printed wiring board thickness of 1,5 mm or 1,6 mm.5.2 Dimensions corresponding to the core stack heightIn the associated standards on outline dimensions of transformers and inductors, IEC 852 series,a range of stack heights is specified, which allows continuous variations of power ratings, althoughthe square stack is preferred. The increment of the stack height follows the R10 series of preferrednumbers)* as a multiple of the width of that limb of the lamination which carries the total magneticflux. A suffix letter is used to designate the appropriate stack height as shown below:Suffix letter zMultiple of limb width of laminationa0,5b0,63c0,8d1,0square stacke1,25f1,6g2,0If a stack height other than the preferred square stack is used for the core, and one of the otherspecified stack heights is chosen, the dimensions of the associated coil formers in the direction ofthe stack height will differ from those given in the following tables, which apply to square stacksonly.In this case the values of dimensions c and h are obtained by increasing or decreasing the valuesin the appropriate tables by the same amount as the stack height changes.The lamination designation followed by the appropriate suffix letter shall be used to designate thecore. If two larger parts of a lamination shape are used to form a core, this shall be indicated bythe letter L to the designation (e.g. YEx 2).As defined in ISO 3.SIST EN 61797-1:2002
