Small craft - Man-overboard prevention and recovery (ISO 15085:2003)
This International Standard specifies the design as well as the construction and strength requirements for safety
devices and arrangements intended to minimize the risk of falling overboard, and requirements to facilitate
reboarding.
It describes means which can be used individually or combined to achieve these objectives, and applies to small
craft of up to 24 m length of hull.
This International Standard is not applicable to the following boat types:
aquatic toys;
canoes, kayaks, or other boats with a beam less than 1,1 m;
personal watercraft, covered by ISO 13590;
inflatable boats with a hull length of less than 8 m, covered by ISO 6185.

Diese Internationale Norm bestimmt die Auslegung von sowie die Konstruktions- und Festigkeitsanforderun-gen an Sicherheitsvorrichtungen und -ausstattungen, die dafür vorgesehen sind, entweder bei üblichen Tätigkeiten angewendet zu werden oder das Risiko zu verringern, von begehbaren Bootsflächen über Bord zu fallen und das Wiedereinsteigen aus dem Wasser zu erleichtern.
Diese Norm, die für kleine Wasserfahrzeuge mit einer Rumpflänge bis 24 m gilt, beschreibt Vorrichtungen, die ein-zeln oder kombiniert angewendet werden können, um den vorgesehenen Zweck zu erreichen.
Für folgende Bootsarten gilt diese Internationale Norm nicht:
3 Spielzeugboote;
3 Kanus, Kajaks oder andere Boote mit einer Decksbreite von weniger als 1,1 m;
3 Wasserskooter, die in ISO 13590 erfasst sind;
3 aufblasbare Boote mit einer Rumpflänge von weniger als 8 m, die in ISO 6185 erfasst sind.
Petits navires - Prévention de chutes d'homme a la mer et remontée a bord (ISO 15085:2003)
L'ISO 15085:2002 spécifie tant la conception que la construction et les exigences de résistance s'appliquant aux dispositifs de sécurité et aménagements destinés à réduire au minimum le risque de chute à la mer, et prescrit les exigences visant à faciliter la remontée à bord.
Elle décrit les dispositifs qui peuvent être utilisés, individuellement ou combinés, pour remplir ces objectifs, et s'applique aux bateaux d'une longueur de coque inférieure ou égale à 24 m.
Les types de bateau suivants sont exclus du domaine d'application :
les jouets aquatiques ;les canoës, kayaks, ou autres bateaux d'un bau inférieur à 1,1 m ;les véhicules nautiques à moteur (VNM), qui relèvent de par l'ISO 13590 ;les bateau gonflables d'une longueur de coque inférieure à 8 m, qui relèvent de l'ISO 6185.
Mala plovila - Preprečevanje padca človeka v vodo in reševanje iz nje (zaščita in oprema) (ISO 15085:2003)
Ta mednarodni standard določa zahteve za načrtovanje ter zahteve za konstrukcijo in trdnost varnostnih naprav in ukrepe, namenjene zmanjšanju tveganja za padec v vodo, ter zahteve za lažje ponovno vkrcanje.
Opisuje sredstva za doseganje teh ciljev, ki jih je mogoče uporabljati samostojno ali v kombinaciji z drugimi sredstvi in se uporablja za mala plovila z dolžino trupa do 24 m.
Ta mednarodni standard se ne uporablja za naslednje vrste čolnov:
vodne igrače;
kanuji, kajaki ali drugi čolni z največjo širino do 1,1 m;
osebna plovila, zajeta v standardu ISO 13590;
napihljivi čolni z dolžino trupa pod 8 m, zajeti v standardu ISO 6185.
