This standard specifies the characteristics of adjustable rod ends consisting o of: - a self-aligning ball bearing with self-lubricating liner EN 2501; - a rod end body with threaded shank comprising: - a circumferential groove to identify engagement; - an optional longitudinal groove for locking purposes. These rod ends are intended for use with flight control rods for aircraft structures. They are intended to be used within the temperature range: -55°C to + 150°C

Die vorliegende Norm legt die Eigenschaften von einstellbaren Ösenköpfen fest.Diese Ösenköpfe bestehen aus : - einem Gelenklager mit selbstschmierender Beschichtung EN 2501; - einem Ösenkörper mit Gewindeschaft, der : - mit einer Ringnut zur Kontrolle der Einschraubtiefe versehen ist; - eine Längsnut zur Sicherung aufweisen kann. Sie sind für Bediengestänge für Flugsteuerungen oder für Strukurstangen von Luftfahrzeugen bestimmt. Sie sind vorgesehen zur Verwendung in dem Temperaturbereich : - 55°C bis +150°C.

La présente norme spécifie les caractéristiques des embouts réglables consitués: - d'une rotule à garniture autolubrifiante EN 2501; - d'un corps d'embout à tige filetée comprenant: - une gorge circulaire de repérage d'implantation; - éventuellement une rainure longitudinale de verrouillage. Ces embouts sont destinés aux bielles pour commandes de vol ou aux bielles de structures d'aéronefs. Ils sont prévus pour être utilisés dans l'intervalle de température: -55°C à + 150°C
