Safety of machinery - Safety requirements for the design and construction of paper making and finishing machines - Part 14: Reel splitter

This European Standard applies to reel splitters intended for use in paper making and shall be used together with !EN 1034-1:2000+A1:2010". It deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and hazardous events relevant to reel splitters when used as intended and under the conditions reasonably foreseen by the manufacturer as incorrect application (see clause 4). This European Standard applies only to reel splitters with a movable knife and of the following designs: - machines with a vertically moving knife pressed downwards from the top onto the reel, generally right to the core so that the layers of wound paper are separated one after the other and fall off; - machines with a driven and movable circular knife that cuts the wound layers of the horizontal reel successively, beginning from the top down to the core, with the cut layers of wound paper falling off one after the other. This European Standard also applies to the integrated conveyor belts and the integrated pivoting platform. This European Standard also covers the guard rails at the interface of the reel splitter and a pulper that is charged with an integrated conveyor belt of the reel splitter.

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Rollenspaltmaschinen, die zur Verwendung bei der Papierherstellung
bestimmt sind und ist zusammen mit !EN 1034-1:2000A1:2010" anzuwenden. Sie behandelt alle
signifikanten Gefährdungen, Gefährdungssituationen und Gefährdungsereignisse, die auf Rollenspaltmaschinen
zutreffen, wenn sie bestimmungsgemäß und unter Bedingungen, die vom Hersteller als Fehlanwendung
vernünftigerweise vorhersehbar sind, verwendet werden (siehe Abschnitt 4).
Diese Europäische Norm behandelt nur Rollenspaltmaschinen mit beweglichem Messer und folgender
Bauarten:
 Maschinen mit einem vertikal bewegten Messer, das von oben auf die liegende Rolle, üblicherweise bis
hin zur Hülse gedrückt wird, sodass die Lagen der Papierwicklung nacheinander aufgetrennt werden und
herabfallen;
 Maschinen mit angetriebenem und verfahrbarem Kreismesser, das die Wicklungslagen der Rolle in
horizontaler Richtung von oben beginnend sukzessive, üblicherweise bis hin zur Hülse schneidet, wobei
die durchtrennten Lagen der Papierwicklung nacheinander herabfallen.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt auch für die integrierten Förderbänder und die integrierte Schwenkbühne.
Diese Europäische Norm behandelt außerdem die Absturzgefahr an der Schnittstelle zwischen Rollenspaltmaschine
und einem Stofflöser, der mit einem integrierten Förderband der Rollenspaltmaschine beschickt
wird.
ANMERKUNG Stofflöser werden in EN 1034-4 behandelt.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Rollenspaltmaschinen, die vor Veröffentlichung dieser EN hergestellt
wurden.

Sécurité des machines - Prescriptions de sécurité pour la conception et la construction de machines de fabrication et de finition du papier - Partie 14: Cisailles à bobine

Cette Norme européenne s‘applique aux cisailles à bobine qui sont destinées à une utilisation dans la fabrication de papier et doit être appliquée conjointement avec l'!EN 1034-1:2000+A1:2010". Elle traite tous les phénomènes dangereux significatifs, situations et événements dangereux qui surviennent sur des cisailles à bobine lorsque celles-ci sont utilisées normalement et dans les conditions d’utilisation abusive qui peuvent raisonnablement être prévues par le fabricant (voir Article 4).
La présente norme traite uniquement les cisailles à bobine avec couteau mobile et conceptions suivantes :
—   machine avec un couteau déplacé verticalement, qui est appuyé par le haut sur la bobine couchée, habituellement en direction du mandrin, de sorte que les couches de la bobine de papier sont séparées et tombent les unes après les autres ;
—   machine avec couteau circulaire entraîné et déplaçable, qui coupe les couches d’enroulement de la bobine dans le sens horizontal en commençant par le haut, de façon successive et habituellement en direction du mandrin, les couches séparées de la bobine de papier tombant les unes après les autres.
Cette norme s‘applique également aux bandes transporteuses intégrées et à la pelle de relevage intégrée.
Cette norme traite également le phénomène dangereux de chute dans le triturateur au niveau de l’interface entre la cisaille à bobine et un triturateur, qui est alimenté avec une bande transporteuse intégrée de la cisaille à bobine.
NOTE   Les triturateurs la présente dans EN 1034-4.
La présente Norme européenne n’est pas applicable aux cisailles à bobine qui ont été fabriquées avant la publication de ce document par le CEN.

The machinery concerned and the extent to which hazards, hazardous situations and hazardous events are covered are indicated in the scope of this European Standard. For machines that have been designed and built according to the provisions of this C standard, the following stipulation applies: When provisions of this type C standard are different from those which are stated in
type B standards or from provisions made in !EN 1034-1:2000+A1:2010", the provisions of this type C standard take precedence over the provisions of the other standards. 1 Scope This European Standard applies to reel splitters intended for use in paper making and shall be used together with !EN 1034-1:2000+A1:2010".
