Overview

EN 61466-2:1998/A1:2002 (CLC) is the CENELEC-adopted amendment to IEC 61466-2 covering composite string insulator units for a.c. overhead lines with a nominal voltage greater than 1 kV. The amendment updates the dimensional and electrical characteristics for composite insulators with specified mechanical loads (SML) in the range 40 kN to 210 kN and for a highest standard lightning impulse level of 1 050 kV. It applies also to similar insulators used in substations and railway applications.

NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Mednarodno dopolnilo IEC 61466-2:1998/A1:2002 je pripravil tehnični odbor Mednarodne
elektrotehniške komisije IEC/TC 36 Izolatorji. Vzporedno je dopolnilo potrdil tehnični odbor Evropskega
komiteja za standardizacijo v elektrotehniki CLC/TC 36 Izolatorji. Slovensko dopolnilo SIST EN 61466-
2:2000/A1:2004 je prevod mednarodnega in evropskega dopolnila EN 61466-2:1998/A1:2002. V
primeru spora glede besedila slovenskega prevoda v tem dopolnilu je odločilno izvirno evropsko
dopolnilo v angleškem jeziku. Slovensko izdajo dopolnila je pripravil tehnični odbor SIST/TC IZL
Izolatorji.
Odločitev za privzem tega dopolnila je avgusta 2004 sprejel tehnični odbor SIST/TC IZL Izolatorji.

on 2002-03-01. CENELEC members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations

Up-to-date lists and bibliographical references concerning such national standards may be obtained on
