Self-adhesive tapes - Flagging of adhesive tape

This standard specifies a method to measure flagging which may occur under specified conditions. Knowledge of the flagging is useful in determining whether the adhesion of the adhesive tape to a backing of the same adhesive tape is adequate for applications where unwinding could occur. The flagging may occur under normal conditions, during the curing cycle of thermosetting adhesives or during immersion in liquids.

Klebebänder - Ablösen von Klebebandenden (Flagging)

Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren zum Messen der Ablösung des aufgerollten Klebebandendes (Flagging) fest, die unter bestimmten Bedingungen auftreten kann. Für Anwendungen, bei denen eine Abrollmöglichkeit für das Klebeband besteht, wird durch die Bewertung des Ablöseverhaltens der Klebebandenden bestimmt, ob ein Klebeband ausreichend fest auf einem gleichen, als Träger dienenden Klebeband klebt. Das Ablösen der Klebebandenden kann unter Normalbedingungen, während des Vernetzens wärmehärtender Klebebänder oder beim Eintauchen in Flüssigkeiten auftreten.

La présente norme européenne prescrit une méthode pour mesurer la mise en drapeau qui peut se produire dans des conditions spécifiées. La connaissance de la mise en drapeau est utile pour déterminer si l'adhésion du ruban adhésif sur le support du meme ruban adhésif convient pour des applications ou un déroulement peut survenir. La mise en drapeau peut se produire dans des conditions normales, pendant le cycle de traitement thermique des adhésifs thermodurcissables ou pendant l'immersion dans les liquides.
