This document specifies the requirements for testing items of equipment intended for use on railway vehicles which are subsequently subjected to vibrations and shock owing to the nature of railway operational environment. To gain assurance that the quality of the equipment is acceptable, it is exposed to tests of reasonable duration that simulate the service conditions seen throughout its expected life.
Simulated long-life testing can be achieved in a number of ways each having their associated advantages and disadvantages, the following being the most common:
a) amplification: where the amplitudes are increased and the time base decreased;
b) time compression: where the amplitude history is retained and the time base is decreased (increase of the frequency);
c) decimation: where time slices of the historical data are removed when the amplitudes are below a specified threshold value.
The amplification method as stated in item a) above, is used in this document and together with the publications referred to in Clause 2; it defines the default test procedure to be followed when vibration testing items for use on railway vehicles.
Whilst this document is primarily concerned with railway vehicles on fixed rail systems, its wider use is not precluded. For systems operating on pneumatic tyres, or other transportation systems such as trolleybuses, where the level of shock and vibration clearly differ from those obtained on fixed rail systems, specific test levels can be considered. In that case, the frequency spectra and the shock duration and amplitude are computed in compliance with the guidelines in Annex A.
Annex F provides the functional random vibration load that can be considered by the user for urban vehicles operating on pneumatic tyres.
This document applies to single axis testing. However, multi-axis testing is possible.
The anchoring bolts at the fixing point(s) of the equipment are not evaluated in this document.
This document is intended to evaluate equipment which is attached to the main structure of the vehicle (and components mounted thereon). It is not intended to test equipment which forms part of the main structure. Main structure in the sense of this document means car body, bogie and axle.
The following items are out of scope of this document:
– the traction motors for railway vehicles;
– any mechanical substructure not equipped with electrical, electronic or pneumatic component.
Additional or special vibration tests for some specific equipment are not specified in this document, for example:
a) equipment mounted on, or linked to, items which are known to produce defined frequency excitation;
b) equipment such as pantographs, shoegear, or suspension components which are known to be exposed to specific shock and vibration excitation;
c) equipment intended for use in special operational environments as specified by the customer;
d) transportation and handling tests.

This document specifies test methods for the determination of the efficiency of frequency conversion from the electrical input, and of the available and workload microwave output power in industrial microwave heating installations, as well as operational flexibility.
This document is in principle applicable to industrial microwave heating equipment and installations in the frequency range from 300 MHz to 300 GHz but focussed on the microwave ISM frequencies below 6 GHz.
This document relates to industrial microwave heating equipment operating as intended by the manufacturer's specifications for normal operation.
This document does not apply to appliances for household and similar use (covered by IEC 60335-2-25 [1]1), commercial use (covered by IEC 60335-2-90 [2] and IEC 60335-2-110 [3]) or laboratory use (covered by IEC 61010-2-010 [4]).

This document specifies test methods for the determination of useful high frequency power output in equipment for industrial heating and processing of materials. It is in particular applicable to HF generators made available to users as separate units.
This document is basically applicable to equipment operating in the frequency range 100 kHz to 300 MHz, as defined in IEC 60519-1, with the following limitations.
– This document does not apply to induction heating, which it is possible to carry out in the lower part of the specified frequency band.
– The ISM centre frequencies for dielectric heating and processing of industrial interest are narrow bands about 6,78 MHz, 13,56 MHz, 27,12 MHz and 40,68 MHz.
– This document is not applicable to:
• appliances for household and similar use;
• commercial use;
• laboratory use;
• medical high frequency equipment.
For equipment working in designated ISM bands, it is a legal requirement that the frequency remains within the ISM bands according to CISPR 11, but the resonant frequency of the circuit varies with the change of dielectric parameters of the load. Therefore, the value of the mean output power in the work cycle can be much lower than the value obtained under the test conditions. This value depends upon the response of the tuning system.
NOTE 1 The following criteria are suitable for determination of the classification as industrial equipment:
– commercial equipment is typically designed and planned for series production of many identical units;
– industrial equipment is typically produced in small series or even as single units; the processed goods are consumed or ready for final use at the end of the heating process.
NOTE 2 Heating a workload with dielectric parameters which change significantly in time and/or with temperature, the value of the output power obtained with the actual charge can be different from that obtained with the test load specified in this document.
This document relates to equipment normally operating under continuous rated conditions.

– detailing the essential steps for conducting a risk analysis and justifying investments, regardless of the calculation methods used;
– providing essential information and warnings to decision makers;
– implementing performance evaluation and continuous improvement.
The document is based on the asset management principles from ISO 55000:2024 [1] and is aligned with ISO 55001:2024 [2]. Compliance with the requirements of this document is independent of compliance with ISO 55001:2024 [2].

This part of IEC 61760 defines requirements for component specifications of electronic components that are intended for usage in surface mounting technology. To this end, it specifies a reference set of process conditions and related test conditions to be considered when compiling component specifications.
The objective of this document is to ensure that a wide variety of SMDs can be subjected to the same placement, mounting and subsequent processes (e.g. cleaning, inspection) during assembly. This document defines tests and requirements that are included in any SMD component’s general, sectional or detail specification. In addition, this document provides component users and manufacturers with a reference set of typical process conditions used in surface mounting technology.
Some of the requirements for component specifications in this document are also applicable to components with leads intended for mounting on a circuit board, including solderless interconnection technology. Cases for which this is appropriate are indicated in the relevant subclauses.
NOTE Solderless interconnection technology refers to a mounting method which is not part of the surface-mounting process and the components do not undergo a soldering operation. Such components are included in this document because the mounting of components for solderless interconnection commonly occurs after the mounting of SMDs.

This document defines and describes the concept of on-boarding of person identification data (PID) within a Wallet. The scope of this document includes cases where a natural person is the User in control of a Wallet. This includes a natural person who is in control of their own information, as well as natural persons who control information to represent another natural person or a legal person. This document considers a single set of PID attributes linked to a single Wallet Unit. This does not exclude the issuance of multiple PIDs representing the same set of PID attributes, e.g. batch issuance.
It also provides the general workflow, the roles and responsibilities at stake, and links the on-boarding with the Level of Assurance concept underpinning eIDAS [1];
The scope of this document includes cases where a natural person is the User in control of a wallet. This includes a natural person who is in control of their own data as well as natural persons who control data to represent another natural person or legal person.
EXAMPLE If a natural person represents a legal person, the PID provider can issue a "representation PID" in an own Wallet Unit for representation purposes controlled by the natural person Wallet User. The "representation PID" is a kind of attestation which contains PID about the natural person (representative) and about the legal person (representee).
This document is limited to the on-boarding of an unique set of person identification data, complying with the legal provisions of eIDAS [1], in particular (1) issued in accordance with Union or National laws, and (2) conformant with the relevant implementing act [5].
The following aspects are out of scope of this document:
— the on-boarding of person identification data within a Wallet where the User is a legal person;
— other types of on-boarding, such as:
— provisioning of person identification data after revocation, expiration or deletion;
— addition of other Attributes (under the shape of attestations) in accordance with the requirement of Level of Assurance “High” which are not part of the set of person identification data but are part of the legal identity under National’s laws;
— management of person identification data (deletion, update, etc.);
— provisioning of person identification data which is not compliant with the relevant implementing act [5];
— provisioning of a partial set of person identification data;
— provisioning of supplemental set(s) of person identification data (multiple PIDs);
