This European Standard is applicable to cabs of agricultural and forestry tractors and self-propelled sprayers. Its purpose is to limit the exposure of the operator (driver) to hazardous substances when applying plant protection products (PPP) and liquid fertilisers. This European Standard specifies different categories of cabs of agricultural and forestry tractors and self-propelled sprayers and the relevant requirements and test procedures in order to limit the exposure of the operator (driver) to hazardous substances when inside the cab. It also specifies the information to be provided by the tractor or self-propelled sprayer manufacturer.
This document does not cover:
the exposure linked to fumigants;
the category of cab and performance level to be used for any particular application;
the actual cab performance in the field applications;
the field durability of filters.
This document is not applicable to tractor cabs which are manufactured before the date of its publication as an EN.

ISO 13693-1:2013 specifies the general requirements and test methods for small plastics-bodied valves used for chemigation, intended for operation in irrigation pipe systems which may contain fertilizers and chemicals of the type and concentration used in agriculture.
It is applicable to controllable safety devices (also known as backflow preventers) with a reduced pressure zone (RPZ), intended to prevent backflow by back-siphonage or backpressure of irrigation water into an upstream potable water distribution system, whenever the pressure in the latter is lower than that in the system located downstream.
It is applicable to such devices of nominal size up to and including DN 50 (2"), with a nominal pressure of PN10, that are capable of working without modification or adjustment at any pressure up to 1 MPa (10 bar), with any pressure variation up to 1 MPa (10 bar), and in permanent duty at temperatures up to 45 °C and for 1 h at 65 °C.

This European Standard specifies safety requirements, and their verification for the design and construction of wedge splitters, designed to be used (operated?) by one operator for splitting logs for firewood, irrespective of the nature of the power source used. Automatic or semi-automatic wedge splitters are to be included within the scope of the standard. Firewood processors are excluded from the scope of the standard.
This standard describes methods for the elimination or reduction of risks arising from their use. In addition, it specifies the type of information on safe working practices to be provided by the manufacturer.
The list of significant hazards dealt with is given in annex A. Annex A also indicates the hazards which have not been dealt with.
This European Standard applies primarily to machines which are manufactured after the date of issue of the standard.
