The present document specifies technical characteristics and methods of measurements for DSB AM ground based
transmitters, receivers and transceivers operating in all or any part of the aeronautical frequency band between
225 MHz and 399,975 MHz.
NOTE: The relationship between the present document and essential requirements of article 3.2 of Directive
2014/53/EU [i.1] is given in annex A.
In addition to the present document, other ENs that specify technical requirements in respect of essential requirements
under other parts of article 3 of the Directive 2014/53/EU [i.1] as well as essential requirements under the Single
European Sky (SES) Interoperability Regulation No 552/2004 [i.3] and related implementing rules and/or essential
requirements under the EASA basic Regulation No 216/2008 [i.5] as amended by Regulation No 1108/2009 [i.6] may
apply to equipment within the scope of the present document.

Ta dokument določa tehnične lastnosti in metode merjenja za talne oddajnike DSB AM, sprejemnike in sprejemnike-oddajnike, ki delujejo v celotnem aeronavtičnem frekvenčnem pasu med 225 MHz in 399,975 MHz ali kateremkoli njegovem delu.
OPOMBA: Razmerje med tem dokumentom in bistvenimi zahtevami člena 3.2 Direktive 2014/53/EU [i.1] je podano v dodatku A.
Poleg tega dokumenta se za opremo na področju uporabe tega dokumenta lahko uporabljajo tudi drugi standardi EN, ki določajo tehnične zahteve v zvezi z bistvenimi zahtevami iz drugih delov 3. člena Direktive 2014/53/EU [i.1], in tudi bistvene zahteve iz Uredbe o interoperabilnosti enotnega evropskega neba 552/2004 [i.5] ter zadevna izvedbena pravila in/ali bistvene zahteve iz osnovne Uredbe EASA št. 216/2008 [i.5], kakor je bila spremenjena z Uredbo št. 1108/2009 [i.6].
