Un Comité permanent du Conseil sur les finances (CSC/FIN) a été créé en vertu de la Résolution du Conseil 8/2012. Le mandat du CSC/FIN est le suivant: Surveiller la performance financière de l'Organisation et donner des avis au Vice-président (finances), au Secrétaire général et au Conseil. Évaluer et recommander au Conseil des politiques pour gérer les risques commerciaux, juridiques et autres auxquels l'Organisation pourrait se trouver confrontée. Examiner et donner ses avis au Conseil sur le modèle économique et les politiques commerciales de l'Organisation. Examiner la valeur des services ISO fournis aux membres et donner des avis au Conseil sur les moyens de promouvoir la valeur des normes ISO. Examiner et donner des avis au Conseil sur les moyens de financer les programmes de développement et de formation. Donner des avis au Vice-président (finances) et au Conseil sur les questions liées à l'audit, et recommander les états financiers annuels au Conseil à soumettre à l'Assemblée générale pour approbation. Donner des avis au Secrétaire général, au Vice-président (finances) et au Conseil sur les questions liées à l'audit interne, en particulier celles qui se rapportent à la planification de programmes d'audits internes et à la réception de rapports de synthèse de ces travaux.
