This CEN Technical Specification (TS) contains the methodology for syntax bindings of the core elements of an electronic invoice. Any rules to be followed when using one of the syntaxes specified in parts CEN/TS 16931-3-2 up to and including CEN/TS 16931-3-5 are stated informally in this TS.
