33.050.20 - Paging equipment

This Profile standard specifies the combination of base standards, together with the selection of appropriate options and parameter values, necessary to interface a Radio Paging Equipment, RPE to a PINX. The standard is applicable for connection of Radio Paging Equipment to a PINX.

This standard has one common requirements part plus specific parts for each of the radio equipment and services.  This harmonised standard under the EMC Directive and article 3.1b of the R&TTE Dirctive.  This does not include EMC requirements for equipment covered by the Marine Equipment Directive.

This ETS, together with ETS 300 719-1, is intended to become a harmonised standard, the reference of which is intended to be published in the Official Journal of the European Communities referencing the EMC Directive. Covers the EMC requirements for wide area paging. The ETS may be used to demonstrate compliance with the requirements of the EMC Directive 89/336/EEC.

Covers the EMC requirements for private paging equipment. The ETS, together with ETS 300 224, may be used to demonstrate compliance with the requirements of the EMC Directive 89/336/EEC.
