This document specifies the dimensions of machine bridge reamers. It gives, for a series of diameter ranges, d1, from 6 mm to 50,8 mm, the values, in millimetres, for the following dimensions of these tools: — overall length, l3; — total cutting edge length, l2; — tapered cutting edge length, l1. Unless otherwise stated, these reamers are right-hand cutting.

This International Standard specifies the dimensions of centre drills for centre holes without protecting
chamfers (Type A).
It covers only metric dimensions, which are regarded as the only recommended dimensions in the
future for this type of drill.
The flutes may be straight or spiral, depending on the manufacturer’s discretion.
Unless otherwise indicated, these drills will be right-hand cutting.

ISO 5468:2017 specifies the dimensions, in millimetres, of rotary and rotary impact masonry drill bits with hardmetal tips, having diameters in the range of 4 mm to 25 mm inclusive and overall, and working lengths in the series short, long and extra-long. It does not apply to hammer drills.

ISO 494:2017 specifies the dimensions of cylindrical shank twist drills having working lengths in the long series. The cylindrical shank jobber and stub series drills and Morse taper shank drills are given in ISO 235.

ISO 2250:2017 specifies the dimensions of cylindrical shank socket reamers and taper shank socket reamers manufactured to produce self-holding taper sockets for self-holding taper shanks of the following designations, and which are in accordance with ISO 296: - metric tapers no. 4 and no. 6; - Morse tapers no. 0 to no. 6 inclusive. NOTE Unless otherwise stated, these reamers are right-hand cutting.

ISO 235:2016 specifies the dimensions of the following three types of drills: a) parallel shank drills, stub series; b) parallel shank drills, jobber series; c) Morse taper shank drills. It comprises, for each type of drill mentioned above, three tables giving, respectively: a) the dimensions in millimetres; b) the dimension in inches; c) the corresponding lengths, in millimetres and in inches, set out as functions of diameter steps.

ISO 4206:2016 specifies the dimensions, in millimetres, and the tolerances of counterbores with parallel shanks and solid pilots for general use.

ISO 7079:2016 specifies the dimensions of core drills with parallel shanks and with Morse taper shanks. It includes two tables for each of the above specified types, giving respectively - the dimensions for the preferred diameter (see Tables 1 and 2), and - the corresponding lengths defined in terms of diameter ranges (see Tables 3 and 4).
