SCOPE
1.1 This specification covers asphalt roofing in sheet form, 36 in. (914 mm) in width, or other widths agreed upon between the purchaser and the supplier, composed of asphalt-saturated organic felt with approximately half the width of the weather side coated with asphalt and surfaced with mineral granules, for use as a cap sheet in the construction of built-up roofs.
