The informationpertaining to these essential IPRs, if any, is publicly available for ETSI members and non-members, and can be foundin SR 000 314: "Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs); Essential, or potentially Essential, IPRs notified to ETSI in respectof ETSI standards", which is available free of charge from the ETSI Secretariat. Latest updates are available on theETSI Web server (http://www.etsi.org/ipr).Pursuant to the ETSI IPR Policy, no investigation, including IPR searches, has been carried out by ETSI. No guaranteecan be given as to the existence of other IPRs not referenced in SR 000 314 (or the updates on the ETSI Web server)which are, or may be, or may become, essential to the present document.ForewordThis European Standard (Telecommunications series) has been produced by ETSI Technical Committee SignallingProtocols and Switching (SPS).The present document is part 2 of a multi-part standard covering the Digital Subscriber Signalling System No. one(DSS1) protocol specification for the Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) diversion supplementary services, asdescribed below:Part 1: "Protocol specification";Part 2: "Protocol Implementation Conformance Statement (PICS) proforma specification";Part 3: "Test Suite Structure and Test Purposes (TSS&TP) specification for the user";Part 4: "Abstract Test Suite (ATS) and partial Protocol Implementation eXtra Information for Testing (PIXIT)proforma specification for the user";Part 5: "Test Suite Structure and Test Purposes (TSS&TP) specification for the network";Part 6: "Abstract Test Suite (ATS) and partial Protocol Implementation eXtra Information for Testing (PIXIT)proforma specification for the network".To evaluate conformance of a particular implementation, it is necessary to have a statement of which capabilities andoptions have been implemented for a given Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) protocol. Such a statement is called aProtocol Implementation Conformance Statement (PICS).National transposition datesDate of adoption of this EN: 30 October 1998Date of latest announcement of this EN (doa): 31 January 1999Date of latest publication of new National Standardor endorsement of this EN (dop/e): 31 July 1999Date of withdrawal of any conflicting National Standard (dow): 31 July 1999SIST EN 300 207-2 V1.2.4:2003

ETSIEN 300 207-2 V1.2.4 (1998-10)61ScopeThis second part of EN 300 207 is applicable to the stage three of the diversion supplementary services for thepan-European Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) as provided by European public telecommunicationsoperators at the T reference point or coincident S and T reference point (as defined inITU-T Recommendation I.411 [11]) by means of the Digital Subscriber Signalling System No. one (DSS1) protocol.Stage three identifies the protocol procedures and switching functions needed to support a telecommunications service(see CCITT Recommendation I.130 [10]).The present document provides the Protocol Implementation Conformance Statement (PICS) proforma for the ISDNDSS1 diversion supplementary services protocol as specified in EN 300 207-1 [5] in compliance with the relevantrequirements and in accordance with the relevant guidance given in ISO/IEC 9646-7 [9].The supplier of a protocol implementation which is claimed to conform to EN 300 207-1 [5] is required to complete acopy of the PICS proforma provided in annex A of the present document and is required to provide the informationnecessary to identify both the supplier and the implementation.2ReferencesReferences may be made to:a)specific versions of publications (identified by date of publication, edition number, version number, etc.), inwhich case, subsequent revisions to the referenced document do not apply; orb)all versions up to and including the identified version (identified by "up to and including" before the versionidentity); orc)all versions subsequent to and including the identified version (identified by "onwards" following the versionidentity); ord)publications without mention of a specific version, in which case the latest version applies.A non-specific reference to an ETS shall also be taken to refer to later versions published as an EN with the samenumber.2.1Normative references[1]Void.[2]EN 300 195-2 (V1.3): "Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN); Supplementary serviceinteractions; Digital Subscriber Signalling System No. one (DSS1) protocol; Part 2: ProtocolImplementation Conformance Statement (PICS) proforma specification".[3]Void.[4]ETS 300 196-2 (1996): "Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN); Generic functional protocolfor the support of supplementary services; Digital Subscriber Signalling System No. one (DSS1)protocol; Part 2: Protocol Implementation Conformance Statement (PICS) proforma specification".[5]EN 300 207-1 (V1.2): "Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN); Diversion supplementaryservices; Digital Subscriber Signalling System No. one (DSS1) protocol; Part 1: Protocolspecification".SIST EN 300 207-2 V1.2.4:2003

ThePICS/SCS clause should describe the relationship of the PICS to the SCS.A.1.2Global statement of conformanceIf the answer to the statement in this subclause is "Yes", all subsequent subclauses should be completed to facilitateselection of test cases for optional functions. If the answer to the statement in this subclause is "No", all subsequent subclauses should be completed, and allnon-supported mandatory capabilities should be identified and explained. Explanations may be entered in the commentsfield at the bottom of each table or on attached sheets of paper.A.1.3Explanation of PICS proforma subclausesThe PICS proforma contains a Roles clause and thereafter is presented in two parts (for user and network) with thefollowing subclauses, as required:-major capabilities;-subsidiary capabilities;-protocol data unit support;-protocol data unit parameters;-timers;-call states. The User clause shall only be completed for user implementations (including private network implementations) whilethe Network clause shall only be completed for network implementations. The Roles subclause shall be completed forall implementations. The relationship between this PICS proforma and other related PICS proforma (e.g. the basic call PICS proforma) isexpressed in the requirements list contained in annex B. This provides the additional restrictions placed on the relatedproforma (different conditions, different status, etc.).SIST EN 300 207-2 V1.2.4:2003
