E-UTRA NB-IoT je zasnovan za delovanje v operativnih pasovih E-UTRA 1, 3, 8, 20, 28 in 65, ki so opredeljeni v preglednici 1-1. Ta dokument zajema zahteve za uporabniško opremo E-UTRA FDD in E-UTRA TDD iz izdaj 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 in 13 dokumenta 3GPP™, kot je opredeljeno v dokumentu ETSI TS 136-101 [3].
