ETSIETSIEN300673V1.2.1(2000-03)94.2ArrangementsfortestsInordertomeasuretheunwantedemissionsandelectromagneticimmunityunderoperationalconditions,thefollowingarrangementsshallbeprovidedbythemanufacturer:a)aspecialtestequipmenttoputtheESterminalinitsnormaloperatingmode,andprovidingtheESwithareceivesignaltoemulatetheoperationalconditionsofreception.ThisequipmentshallcontroltheEUT,whenitiscapableoftransmission,sothatitswitchesbetweenthetransmissiondisabled,carrier-onandcarrier-offstates;b)thespecificQualityofTransmissionMeasurementApparatus(QTMA).ForthemeasurementofthequalityoftransmissionacommunicationslinkshallbeestablishedandthewantedinputsignalshallbeappliedtotheRadioFrequency(RF)inputofthereceiverviatheantenna.Fortestsonthereceiver,thelevelofthesignalreceivedfromthetesttransmittershallbeascloseaspossibletothenormaloperationleveloftheEUTreceiver.Careshouldbetakentoavoidthebroadbandnoisefromthepoweramplifierofthetesttransmitterfrominfluencingthemeasurement.Adequatemeasuresshallbetakentoavoidtheeffectsoftheunwantedsignalonthemeasuringequipment.Thespecialtestequipment,theQTMAandthesourceofthewantedinputsignalshallbelocatedoutsidethetestenvironment.Adequatemeasuresshallbetakentoprotectthemfromtheeffectsofalltheradiatedfieldswithinthetestenvironment.5Performanceassessment5.1GeneralThemanufacturershall,atthetimeofsubmissionoftheequipmentfortest,declaretheintendeduseoftheequipment,andprovidefullandcompletedocumentationnecessaryforuseroperation,testingandevaluationpurposes.Thisdocumentationshallinclude,butnotbelimitedto:-therangesoftheoperationalparameters,e.g.thepowerdeliveredtotheantenna,thefrequencyranges;-anexhaustivelistofports,classifiedaseitherpower,antennaorsignal/control.PowerportsshallfurtherbeclassifiedasACorDCpower;-theancillaryequipmenttobecombinedwiththeESfortesting,ifapplicable;-theuser-controlfunctionsthatarerequiredfornormaloperation;-theminimumqualityoftransmission,andthemethodtobeusedtoassessit.Thisinformationshallbeinaccordancewiththedocumentationaccompanyingtheequipment.Allthisinformationshallberecordedinthetestreport.SIST EN 300 673:2000
